Day 2 Flowering: I adjusted the light to 600w - 60 cm. I trimmed the plants (although I almost cried while doing do so:))... I already see that the 2 Royal amnesia are female. The rest look good but need another few days to be sure. I hope for good. 4/7 plants are feminized seed. the other 3 came although supposed to be females, are under my supervision... (it is amazing strain - I got them from a friend). I hope the plants will not get stressed from the trimming... I should have done it few days ago before switching to flowering... I think. nevertheless, I did it one day after switching to flowering so I hope the consequences are minor... do you think it is a problem? I will water the plants on Saturday. I will add for the first time the flowering fertilizers.

The only one left..., which I am not sure - is the one with the comment "boy or a girl?' under the photo. please take a look and tell me what you think thanks

I gave them an additional trimming since it was too bushy. no air. most of the trimming below the net, and a bit up, taking of leaves which interrupt the light to other flowers to grow... do you think I shouldn't have trim the plants at this stage? Is it too risky? what do you think?????? I am bit worried:(

after drying for 9 days ( the first harvest of 50% of cookies 1&2) I have 37grams from cookies 1 and 43 grams from cookies 2. the other half is at least what I have now if not more... Since this strain is relatively strong indica, I harvest the plants when the trichomes were mostly milky / super milky. I did not wait a bot more to have a bigger buds and amber trichomes. in this strain if you have amber trichomes, even 10%, it is going to have a very strong couch effect. it is killing. So:) I went on the quality and harvested it when none of the trichomes are amber. the second half which I harvested yesterday had few amber thrichomes, but really few. I am waiting to see the difference....

I harvested the 2 cookies (indica) last almost 2 weeks ago. I harvested them in two stages... I got around 140 gram dry. I am not sure. I wiil weight and update. this strain is great. I harvested it when it was super milky, not amber. thus the smoke does not have a strong couch effect. But, if you smoke few... it is better to put a helmet:) I harvested yesterday, 50% of the amnesia 2 and sade 3. it is drying... I did not weight them... but you can see the photos... I will harvest the other half in a few days time. still maturing - amnesia 1 and sade 1&2....

Hi guys, day 27 (middle 4th week flowering). I did last, but last: massive trimming. now there is light to everyone... I an expecting the plants to be shocked a bit, but I hope for good and in 3-4 day we will see if the buds will start exploding... This method, at this stage is controversial . Some believe it is too dangerous and better to leave the plants alone. Nevertheless, such massive trimming, suppose to increase yield substantially after recovering from the stress.... holding fingers!

Hi guys, My 2 royal cookies are close to harvest. one in particular. the second look ike it has another week. I am finishing week 8. by royal queen the plants should be ready to harvest at week 8-9. few questions: 1. The cookies plant which seems to be close to be ready, has around 70% of the hairs - brown. should it be 100% brown? 2. I am also following the trichomes. they are partial glassy and partial milky. but none of them is amber or in other color than glassy / milky. should I wait to see the fist few trichomes which are amber and than to harvest immediately? 3. Is it possible to have a situation where the hairs of the plant are 60-70% brown and part of the trichomes turned amber? 4. I flashed the two cookies royal yesterday for the first time. It might be to late for the plant which seems to be ready in the next few days. nevertheless, my question is with regard to the other plant (sativa). I remind you all that I am finishing week 8 now. By royal queen recommendation - these plants should be ready to harvest at week 10-11. So... when to start flashing them? at the middle of week 9? earlier? later? thank you very much best regards waiting to here from you....

Answer to question one is no you can harvest while some are still yellow 70% is good Answer to question 2 is depends on how u like your smoke more Amber = more stoned more milky clear = more head high I prefer a few Amber's Answer to question 3 is yes refer to question And question 4 I would say continue to flush the cookies for at least another week and start flush on the amnesia around week 10 for 10/14days hope this helps buddy

I take leaves of all way through just little at a time in flower
PigBearMan
PigBearMancommentedweek 107 years ago
Hey dude, good question. Normally it's not good to take any leafs away while flowering, but if it's needed and the leafs take away way too much light, it's better to remove some. If you take a look at my Sour Diesel grow you'll see that it's not that bad. I was about the same stage than you.....😊

They are looking prime time, keep up that good work my dude. How big of space you working with here?
CaliGrown
CaliGrowncommented7 years ago
@zerogravity, Whatup, I’m good thx, I would wait another week or two keep filling in those squares. Try to get at least 1-2 “tips in each square. . In flowering you can manipulate the canopy for the first week but after that I would let them stretch and just go for the gold 😉
zerogravity
zerogravitycommented7 years ago
@CaliGrown, how are you? what do you think now? still keep on filling the squares? or we are ready to flower? while in flowing, I can't keep shoving them to the squares? when the flowing stage starts I cannot bend them under the squares anymore?
CaliGrown
CaliGrowncommented7 years ago
@zerogravity,wait some more fill out that canopy a bit more. Maybe another week or two.

@FirstCycle, hi, I was just wondering...what humidity device did you use? I was just thinking of buying one myself. Thanks, Bunker :)
zerogravity
zerogravitycommented7 years ago
@Bunker, hi, buy the regular, for babies. they are all the same idea. it cost in my country around 40$. you need to fill it up everyday, and adjust it from time to time due to weather changes. do not expect it to raise the humidity in more than 10-20%, depend on the space. But I read and told that high humidity during veg period induce seraph all over the plan in the flowering stage. I kept the humidity relatively high, in the last few weeks, around 60% with piks of 65-70, lower piks 45-50. I hope to see results.... soon I will finish with the humidor... I am tired of filling it:). on the other hand, I am glad, since I am sure the natural humidity will fit well to the flowering stage.
