RECAP: First 8wks tracked in original Tangerine Dream Auto Diary at: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/21131-diary-1/week/241562 Was supposed to be Tangerine Dream Auto #2, but had pH+PPM spike [7.8 / 1250ppm] and was too close to heater - Appears to have pulled way more nutes from rez - refused to autoflower alongside her sister. Hasn't even really preflowered yet and don't want TD1 on 12/12. Pretty sure I've sorted out the pH issues, but will need to get this one off the rez and setup 'mini-rez' so she doesn't dry out in the meantime.

Thought we were getting into preflowering mode, but it looks more like advancing deficiencies and poor response to BigBud / added P in the rez (for TD1). Being the weaker / werido plant she'll for sure have to be moved to the recovery tent soon. Need to sort this out asap!

Put up the other tent and setup a 1Gal mini-rez. - Mars Hydro 39"x39"x70" [3.5x3.5] - Meizhi Reflector 600 light [235w] / both switches ON for full spectrum blurple Other 'interesting things' Doing research on Tangerine Dream lineage, this appears more haze like / thin leaves, now showing FLAT stems and odd node division too - wanna finish this thing it just keeps getting weirder...

This plant is going to be massive, and it's just going to happen. Many have said it before and I'll say it now: Autopots grow monsters. The 2nd res arrived so this plant has a one all to herself and because I simply can't manage hand feeding this beast anymore, while her sister finishes up (and you should really check out that journal over at: https://www.growdiaries.com/diaries/21131-diary-1/week/241624 Everything seems to have panned out now aside from refusing to flower. Will lower

This was supposed to be an autoflower, right? Let's try that again - reduced light to 16/8 may help trigger flowering. Now that TD1 is done, brought back the Mars Hydro Reflector 192. Did some defoliation & LST maybe even HST... and tied up a bit for support - ** not ScrOG'd properly**

Trying to get this monster under control before comitting to 12/12. The 16/8 schedule appears to have helped a bit, but she just won't go. Also took 3 test "clones". She's not auto-ing, so maybe clones of her will work in some other round. Lots of cleanup - branches removed, undergrowth removed too (easily a grocery bag full of leaves/branches).

Preflowering. Not much to report - Kinda mad right now, but that's fine - on 12/12... more stretch... guess we'll see...

Lights are nearly at the top and she's still getting bigger. Stretch should be nearing completion now (I hope), just want her to nug up. Fingers crossed for a pound...maybe 2?

This is a helluva long, and challenging process. It still reeks like a gym-bag in here and there's changes everyday, but they're so minimal that it's hard to track - until she's up in the lights again, ugh. I can't really get her down any lower but have been trying to bend & pull the lower sticks & branches around enough to get a bit more space. Buds are tightening up, but are both heat & light stressed with most having 1-3" of the tops bleached already. I have my doubts about this beast being smokeable, with this much stress she'll probably herm too. :( Whatev, I'll start looking at clean/cheap extraction methods and hash making tuts. - Another 4 weeks without /new/ issues (still battling height and heat problems) but not much else going on, except....SUPRISE! At long last we have something recognizable as buds! - Being so Sativa leaning, there's a couple caveats here... 1) Most big buds/tops are super finger-y and foxtaily, 2) She's taking forever - 8weeks into flower and no sign of slowing down or ripening. Based on research, I'm in for up to 15weeks, and 3) it's really hot in the tent and she's pretty much IN the lights, all the time = stressss :( After a TON of research on the lineage of Tangerine Dream, this plant appears to be expressing an almost pure form one of the ancestrral parents "Neville's Haze". Definitely not Tangerine Dream, and not auto-ing. Uhmmm, "thanks" Growers Choice Seeds?

Another couple weeks of stacking calyxes and hair growth. She's in full bloom and isn't showing any signs of slowing down yet - I'm rather impressed, there's buds as big as my arm in there (and it's not like a 'fish tale', there really are!!)

Burnt or not, there's still some really nice buds and a MASSIVE AMOUNT OF POT in here. Not many orange hairs, and no change in trichs, we're still in stacktown!

Something's gotta give - I can't let her stay this close to the lights to finish, it seems like she's loosing trichs but they're not even ripening first. Spent a solid few hrs re-organizing under-structure, pulling down and trying to make some breathing room. Oh and did I mention we've got boy parts?! ugghhh... cut out as many as I could find. Some already open, so there's gonna be seeds. Is she too old? Is she too stressed? Is there a light leak somewhere... arrrggghhhhh

This one didn't turn out to be Tangerine Dream or Auto at all, but produced a total of 1.22KG over a 5wk staggered harvest. Cut 3 clones just before switching to 12/12 and all took in 3wks. Will grow them out over the summer and see what they do without all the stress. Lots of seeds too, but my guess is they're hermied too :(
