In week one we germinated in the paper towel method and left it for 48 hours then placed the seed with about a one inch tap root into the pot.
We are using a 3 gal fabric pot with 2 parts pro mix BX to 1 part Fox Farms Happy Frog soil.
We are growing under the 1000w LED by UpDayDay with built in timer in our 2X2X4 Tent.
This week was much like the last, with it being winter here and my grow spaces in the basement the RH can be a pain to manage. That being said I have left the humidity dome on the plant.
When watering I have been watering the outside edges of the pot to allow to roots to hunt for a drink.
I will probably remove the dome half way through week three depending on growth.
One thing I did not mention in week one is I have the pot raised of the floor with a metal grate. One this grade I have heat cable attached to keep the roots warm. This also aid in the evaporation of the water from the soil adding to the humidity and allowing me to water more often as needed.
I also have a few deli cups with water on the grate to also help with humidity.
The plant has shown good growth in the last week and this strain seems to like water more then others I have grown.
This week I removed the Humidity Dome and started watering the pot with 1-1.5L every two days .
I have added Molasses , RecycleSil and Calmag on two occasions.
With the humidity dome off I had to add a humidifier to help with the overall RH of the Tent.
Week 4 is when I like to start stressing my ladies out so from this point forward things should get interesting.
This week I began to do some stress training . I started off my topping the plant then after a few days I started to use LST.
The plant has responded well to the topping and the training.
I did and have had a hard time keeping the RH up as this winder weather has been up and down in my area so my basement has become very dry.
I will continue to feed and train the plant as normal but will keep an eye on things as its almost time to add bloom nutrients .
