I selected Seedsman brand because a friend suggested them. I selected Swazi because it’s African, and I wanted to honor my heritage even tho my parents are from Cameroon.

@KittyCatatonic, I use an organic soil also, but mine is living soil (yours too?). I usually try to bring it to an average of about 6.2-6.4 (6.3 is my happy spot). I would also recommend making sure your day time temp is at least 75 (but make sure that is the leaf temp, not ambient room temp).

No extra nutrients so far. It’s organic soil from the locally respected shop. I have a bottle of Alaska naturals they told me to use half strength starting next week.
I don’t monitor temperature. It’s cold sometimes in the basement.
Ph I adjust to below 6.8 but I can’t be exact lower than that with the kit I’m using.
