@KittyCatatonic, I use an organic soil also, but mine is living soil (yours too?). I usually try to bring it to an average of about 6.2-6.4 (6.3 is my happy spot). I would also recommend making sure your day time temp is at least 75 (but make sure that is the leaf temp, not ambient room temp).

@MovingOn, Thanks for such good questions. No extra nutrients so far. It’s organic soil from the locally respected shop. I have a bottle of Alaska naturals they told me to use half strength starting next week. I don’t monitor temperature. It’s cold sometimes in the basement. Ph I adjust to below 6.8 but I can’t be exact lower than that with the kit I’m using.
