First Seed doesn´t pop so I planted a second one a few days later but this one doing incredible good and growing outstanding fast. Photo is from just 3trd day after putting it in the soil. Second pic is from the end of week 2, as you see she´s doing very well, maybe a bit to much streched out but very stable so far ;)

When you see your ladie everyday, you don´t recognieze how big she has grown in just a few days ;) i startet too feed her over the leafes to with a much lower concentration of the nutritions i use for the watering. I know from my first time with the atomic strain and from NomNoms diary you can hardly overdo it, the greedy sativa eating like a champion.

Well I topped her on D1 in week 4 and descided to make a 4 way splitt this time like a crossroade to end up between 16 or 32 main colas (well at least thats the plan but we will see what she thinks about it in a few weeks). I also had some soil issues so i had to re-plant her in new soil and i think it was the right way to do so. Because I have grown the strain before I know she handles stress very good even a high amount of it at once in the long run but is always stuned in growth for quite some time after you do something like topping or fimming to her. Because of that i also made the decission to defoliate her as less as possible cause I think she grows her massiv fanleafs later on not just for show. So if anyone start a new project with the Atomic, stress her as you like but give her her time to recover properly. I also hat to bend the leafs a bit to give the branches some light. But at all so far so good.

Well like I said after quit some time of recovery she is back in bussines and starts to explode. I cutted 2 fingers of every big fan-leaf to give the new and smaler ones some more light without stress her more then i had to and I think it´s the right way to handle her. At the end of week 5 she is big and strong and I´m happy to see the next week. Started to main-lining the crossroade bended the upper 2 branches down that the lower two can catch up and are in the end on the same hights.

I tpped her again somewhere in the middle of week 6 and got another 4 way crossroade wich I let now grow for 1 or maybe 2 weeks more bevore I start the switch. As you can see she is massiv in growth and sice. In my opinion it was and is the right decision and let her her leafs as they are. The only thing a have done is that I toke here and there the smaler fingers from the leafs near the tipps that these get more direkt light. In one of the strukture pic´s from below you can see that leafs without direkt light stay smal and stopp growing. I still let them at her because she will need them for the flush in a few weeks to feed her self from the leafs.

As you can see she is strong, healthy and happy as a clam. I bended the branche that 16 tips form a cross, that they fill allmost the space in the middle. I cutted some leafs out of the middle to make some space for the branches and theyre new leafs to fill up that space directly under the light. Today( day 7of week 7) I started and lowered the Light Schedule slowly day by day for the next week so that we are at the end of it by 12h light and 12h darkness and finaly start flowering.

Tomorrow we reach the 12/12 schedule and finaly start flowering. Tbh I´m very happy with her form and size and so far it was definetly the right decission to keep 95% of the leafs and let her soake the light as much as she possible can. I defoliated her sister a few month ago and made a fine powder out of her dry leafs ( first to made some nice tea with them witch was by the way very tasty) and put it into the water and fed it to her after a few days to save some biobizz nutrients. And well, even if my environment is not that of a pro with tend and stuff, she goes very very well so far and like I said I´m very satisfied with her progression. As you can see now in the pic´s from D7W8 the lovly 16 tipp-cross surrounded by her big fan-leafs. In my mind she will look like a real atomic explosion when the stretch is finished in about 4 weeks.

At the beginning of week 10 I defoliated her just a little bit at the bottom and removed her oldest leafs that where always in the shadow for a better air circulation. I dryed them for the next few days and then I mixed them into the water with the other nutrients. Normaly I would make a fine tea out of them but after I fed her the last weeks also over the leafs I think thats not a good idea even with organic stuff from BioBizz. Her flowering started as you can see in the last few days and it´s still watering and waiting.

This week we had an emergancy. In the vegetation state it´s fine to feed her a maximum of nutrients but she reacted very sensitive in early flowering and her stigma´s turned brown and she showed first singes of nutrients burn. I flushed her immediately for the next few days and lowerd the amount of nutrients I gave her and today she looks fine again. I hope that dump misstake will not stune her that much and she goes back to business and next week she has forgive me ;)

Well, She is so sensitiv in flowering! I flushed her immediately in her first flowering week because her stigmas turned brown and it helped quite a lot but after i went back to a very reduced feeding plan the top of the blossom turned browm again and that way to early. After all she doens´t look to bad in my opinion but also far away from beeing perfekt for this time in flowering. But at the end i have to blame myself for this failure. At my research for the reason i´ve read other diarys over plants with the Bomb genetic and in a few, ppl said the exact same thing about the sensitivity in floweringstate. I have a few other projects also from Bomb Seeds and I´m pretty sure I´m better prepared for those floweringphase. A failed attempt here and theire is what it takes to be a master one day, so it was also a good thing to stick with seeds from Bomb Seeds to learn about the pro´s and con´s in the genetic to bring the maximum potential out of an overall fantastic strain like the Atomic.

After the nutrients problems ( more of a desaster) I feed her just water for the last week and she likes it, at least it seems so. Well, like I mentioned before it was my own fault for going a bit crazy in veg-state, so there is no one else to blame. But at all I´m happy now with her and take it as a very long flush so I guess the crop will be more then clean when the time comes to cut these baby down. The leaves turning yellow now day by day and that is how it should be at the end of a plants life.

After all the intens stress I did to her (soil problems, wrong ph, to much nutrients wich also built up in soil because of overwatering, the topping and so on and so on), I´m more than happy now how her buds looks like. I wasn´t quite sure if she would be able to do the trick but she did it very well. Again a week with plain water for her. The trichomes are changing slowly their colour from clear to milky and I guess at the end of next week I will harvest her. But who knows how fast things are changing, I will definitely keep my magnifying glass on her for the next few days.

The Grow: Overall it´s easy to grow and all the stuff that went wrong was my own fault. She handled all kind of stress and pressure I put on her plate very well, but I would highly recommend to let her alone most of the time because she will always be stuned in growth for about a week after doing any kind of HST on her. In my opinion and after some research what´s in her gentic I think because of the THC-Bomb she will stay relatively short and an early topping is not necessary as well as defoliating before flowering ( compared to the third one who is a monster after 4 weeks without any kind of stress, I wished I knewed this from the very beginning and my first growing). In vegetating state you can feed her an insane amount of nutrients and she will handle it like nothing BUT after entering flowering phase the high level of nitrogene in your soil will fuck up your flowers and my Atomic girl transformed into a fucking diva! After a long flush I brought her back on the track but her early stigmas went brown in an instant. However she was fine for the rest of her flowering phase with plain water and for the next time I will definitively gave the third one a good flush bevore entering flowering. In my opinion Bomb Seed´s did a very good job with the Atomic. She is simply a weed, easy to grow and forgiving a lot of misstakes and produce a very very high quality what is a real pleasure to vape or smoke and I´m sure if you handle her much better than I did she will grow a much better quantity than I could achieve with this lady. I guess theire is nothing more to say besides thank you very much Bomb Seed´s for this extraordinary plant and tyvm for reading this diary I hope it will help those who decide to grow an Atomic-Girl too.
