BLACK GHOST OG

This is the first time in sometime I have grown from seed Special Thanks to Original Sensible Seeds for Donating the seeds for this grow and 2 others. So it was super awesome of them to ask me if I would grow Black Ghost OG in my New Hydro/Aeroponic system so I jumped to the opportunity. so I hope you all enjoy " Black Ghost puts roots down in Canada. Dropped seed into Shot Glass full of RO Ph Balanced Water. She sank right to the bottom - no worries the next morning she had cracked and root was starting. poured contents onto paper towel between 2 pie plates( kept moist) dark area on top of fridge where it's warm. 48hrs I first PH conditioned the rockwoolin a bucket of RO Water. Rolled Seed/Root into center hole. Day 6 she has risen from the wool carering her nut well, she will progress quickly from this point on Life Starts Now!

Into the 2nd week and so far so good, She is stretching out a little and hopefully start producing her first leaves. soon she will be introduced to the full light spectrum.

The start of week 3 and all is good. She has gotten some new growth and soon will be put into the hydro chamber to do her thing. So far has been easy going from seed. I added some Coco to the top of the cube to protect the roots from light.😎 A big growth spurt between day 15 and 16. Tomorrow day 17 she goes to Hydro/Aero with the dome for the next 5 days. The nice thing about this system is you don't lose valuable time stressing your plant out with transplanting from pot to pot twice or more times over the veg cycle.👽

Day 22 the start of week 4 She still sits under the dome for a few more days. She is doing well and progressing quickly. Her roots are starting to break through so next week should be a huge growth spurt especially when they hit the open space to pure aeration heaven lol.😎 Day 25 and now into her third shift of open air and she is just bursting out under the hot sun. Hopefully soon she starts building some root mass below. once that happens she explodes. At this time though more water is being taken by all plants on the hive.😎

Day 29 and she has progressed significantly over the last 4days. Overall she looks pretty healthy. the roots are at least a foot long below and look stunning white. She gets fed on a rotational time slot 15 min on spray 15 min drain, 15 min rest.😎 Day 31 Be off with her head I say we need 2 boobs instead. When performing this delicate snip, sterilize snip first. Twist,roll or vape is a good thing! It really helps to keep that hand steady.😎👆

Day 35 All is well with this girl, she is bushing up nicely. going to top a few more area's today. I will be starting some training soon once the 2 shoots start getting taller. I have a humidifier on a timer to the Light timer. Once the light goes off humidity intensifies to 74% for 5hrs with 1hr breathing time before light comes back on. Day 38 and had to trim the Very large Fan Leaves.

Day 44 and she is a really nice bush, still topping when i can and she seems to respond well. Defoliation might be needed soon as she is getting pretty dense.

Day 50 Started placing a few more washers around her slowly bending her delicate branches. I like to do this when the plant has some solid rigid branches. By the next day the tips are pointing upwards. Defoliating a few areas as i go. Not to much though. Day 54 She is growing big fast so i have been giving leaf-cuts today.

Day 57 Topping has been a focus the past week and she seems to be responding really well, starting to look like nice bouquet. Washers are still getting moved around from branch to branch.😎 The RO water is in constant flow to keep up with the high demands of 3 plants and one on the way. Combined they suck a lot of volume in one week. Day 61 The last few days before I turn to flower mode.

Day 64- All is good and it's now flower time so turn the dial back 6 hrs Fall has arrived. This strain is very easy to grow and manipulative. Can't wait for the end result. Thank You Original Sensible Seeds for your support.💪😎 The nutritional Blend I am using will remain for the first week of flower.👆 Day 67 I noticed that the leaves were bleaching out so i added some CAL/Mag Which I believe should do the trick. should see some results in the next week- I presume it is a Iron thing because of my RO water.

Day 71 Flower pistils are starting to show, Switched to Flower Nutrition and adjusted PH level to 6.20. added some CA-MAG hoping she will start to get back some of her color.😎 Day 74 The addition of CAL/MAG seems to have made a difference as the green is coming back

Day 78 18-4 She putting on a stretch right now as budding is starting to happen, going to be adding a Bloom enhancer to start her busting. it will be followed by a misting of the leaves in a day or 2. still using washers for training and because the plant is 2 feet off the ground with a 7 ft ceiling, light etc doesn't give much room.😎

Day 85 25-4 the buds are now really starting to take off, i just added Power to Bloom to the nutritional balance and is being gobbled up and exploding out in buds and sites😎

Day 92 2-5 Flowers are really starting to explode now since adding Power to Bloom with a follow up misting of the plant 4 days later with a UMP. Seems to have made a difference. The overall plant is spun(basket) daily and washer weights hung in appropriate branches.😎

Day 99 9-5 Buds are packing and stacking a little faster now. Still rotating plant but have now marked out start point and reverse rotate so not to twist the root until she snaps Yikes!😎

Day 106 16-5 Buds gets bigger by the day. Did another round of Power to Bloom and UMP again eariler last week it seemed to have made a huge difference this time.

Day 113 23-5 She looks great coming into week 8 of the flower cycle, still trimming her as we go. Over the next week it will be seasoning time as i cut back light cycle an hour this week and an hour next. Stay tuned for final week excitement. Coming Soon!

Day 120 30-5 Into the final couple of weeks and already started cutting back on the nutrition and lessened the on time Light by 2 hrs. As the week progresses nutrition will start to drop considerable until PPM is around 20 but still maintaining a 5.7-5.8 PH value. I am also starting to defoliate a little bit more aggressively now as we close out another successful grow.💪😎

Day 127 6-6 Started backing off on the light time and had to bring in a dehumidifier to bring down humidity. Strung some support up for the final weeks push. Continue to lower ppm's slowly getting her down to 15. Total Darkness coming soon.😎 This could be the last week t'ill harvest.

This strain was a pleasure to grow, no real problems at all other than the BOY/GIRL beside her deciding to seed, so there was a few seeds on this Black Ghost but just on the bottom feeders for a Blackberry Auto/BlackGhost Fem, mmm could be interesting. Stay Tuned for that one another day. The buds on this are short/med plump and hard. She was a few inches further away from the light source so she didn't have the overall impact I was hoping for but overall she produced a decent harvest or sticky buds. Plant structure was key (Topping) as was the rotation of the basket to even bud production.
