This strain grows strong, and wasn't fussy. A good choice for novice growers. This one left me feeling very relaxed, with a clear mind. A real "body buzz". She's a good evening or daytime smoke that doesn't leave me "couchlocked" and makes it easy to just relax or get things done.
Another grow complete! π
This was my first grow with bottled nutrients. The Canna Coco A and B was simple to use and worked great with very little buildup of "salts". Despite not using the full Canna lineup, the plant remained healthy and happy. Most of the vegetative growth was done using a mix of Gaia Green 4-4-4 dry amendment fertilizer at 1/4 strength and the Canna Coco A and B along with some Cannazym, Armor Si, Cal-Mag Plus, and VeloKelp. I also used Recharge once a week throughout the grow to boost the root-zone microbes.
This grow was strongly influenced in week 5, when my plans to grow out a conventional 16 top main-line, were crushed. I accidentally broke off a whole quadrant of my main-lined girl, with a misguided watering can. This mishap led to many more weeks of training and reshaping the plant back to a symmetrical shape. The final structure of the plant with 13 colas surrounding a central cola, turned out quite nicely, and wouldn't have happened, if not for my clumsiness.
The plant received two days of darkness prior to harvest at the end of week 9 of flower. I hung her up whole, and dried her for 12 days in the dark @ 60F and RH of 55-60%.
I am very happy with the outcome. 180 grams, off 100 watts of LED, in a 2X2ft spaceπ. Thank you to all my fellow growers who helped, liked, or commented on this diary. Keep an eye out for my second run of this strain. A ScrOG'd clone from this plant!
Peace,
DeaneRπ.
This question is for the Canna Coco Nutrient users!
How do you implement Canna PK 13/14 in flowering? Timing, dosage, duration, yada yada yada!!!!π
I small batch mix and hand pour. I'm new to Canna bottled nutrients and the Pk 13/14 booster.
All feedback is welcome, Thanks ππ
hey man i love that stuff but you do have to time it. So the best way i figured out (with advice from someone on GD) is to measure the buds against your thumb, add the PK booster when the buds are at LEAST the size of your thumbs. This stuff is crazy, time it right and you'll notice more frost starting the very next day. Hope this helps ! π
now thatβs how you do mainlining ..
amazing job mate!! :)
. i donβt love that tech but this is a pure example what you should be getting with that tech
@MovingOn, it's a great grow tool. I like seeing what happens at lights out to control the humidity spike and the temperature drop. I just have one unit that I move amongst my three tents, to dial in my humidifiers, fans, and heaters. On a previous grow it alerted me to a high temp situation, that I was able to correct quickly by replacing a faulty fan.π
Greetings from Russia! Your plants look great! Keep developing in the same spirit! If you are interested in following the adventures of weed in Russia, subscribe to my diary
@DeaneR, all the home growers have their own special way right? but yeah turns out there is a right way about it, dont start too early... but leave it too long and it ends up not being flushed properly meaning you get harsh smoke. It's like playing with fire, except this fire make fire, lol am i making sense ??? π
@CRiSPrGrow, Haha, I've been busy. Running canna bottled nutes 3 out of my 4 grows for the first time. Thanks for the feedback. I've seen some people dose it each feed @ 0.33mL/L throughtout flower. I figured it was a timing, and short duration thing, but wanted some feedback from people who have used it.
@A1420, This girl really takes well to training. She was a little brittle and difficult when young because she had such tight nodal spacing. I broke her in week 5, but that was just me being clumsy with the watering canπ.
@Yummynugz, Give it a go!!! It's fun..... just be patient and gentle (unlike meπ). The nice thing is, all the training done in the vegetative weeks, set the plant up for flowering in a controlled manner. This allows for an effortless flowering period (aside from getting the nutrition and watering correct). Goodluck with your grows!
Amazing pictures, amazing plants and amazing video of them breeding (edit: i meant breathing, not breeding π)
I love the symmetrical way they are shaped. It looks like this operation is executed with military precision. The plants look so healthy!
Bookmarked for later study. Thanks for sharing!
@Mrs_Larimar,Thank you so much for your encouragement and support of my grow journals. I have had great grows with Spider Farmer lights. The SF 7000 is going to be a real game changer.
