Realized my light was a bit low so adjusted to 10". Setup a clip fan on a scheduled timer. Fan on low. Also installed speed regulator for exhaust fan (which is on the cooling thermostat)
Woke up to a bunch of black mold stuff on the lower node's leaves, luckily it has sort of bounced back and put on a lot of growth throughout the day. Damage is limited to the lower node leaves. Humidity got too high last night and soil has been drying out too slow. Raised fan speed to higher setting. Leaves have straightened out a bit with the increased air flow. But the lightening color is worrying. Will probably fertigate tomorrow to replenish the nutrients. Turned down the humidifier to run on interval and moved further away from the plan. I'm hoping there's no more mold overnight again.
Setup at week 2 - Humidifier with set point is making things a lot easier.

A shorter height sativa, but is it looking good so far? I noticed the tips of the 2nd node leaves getting a bit brown today, but I think its because I let it get too dry. Side root growth is lacking, but 2 long are out the of the bottom. Color is doing better after some adjusts
Yes it looks good if a bit over watered. Also increase the light to canopy distance. Go easier on the water and increase the light distance and it will go even better.
Do you typically want to lower your lighting when you switch to 12/12?
I'm a little confused about what is meant when they say to have a 12" light distance for flowering and 18" for veg. Does that mean lower to 12" at the switch to 12/12, or just maintain a min 12" distance?
Hi @sativa_lover yes you have to lower your lighting when you switch to 12/12. But the distance of the lamp depends on the power of the Led and varies from brand to brand, you must see the recommended distances on the manufacturer's website or store. good luck mate 👍

@@Athos, Ok, thanks for the advice. I raised the light to around 12" and tweaked a few other things with the temp, humidity, and fan angle, and added a heater to keep the temp from dropping too low at night, and I got some crazy growth the next 24 hours, with suddenly tons of roots coming out of the sides and bottom of the first fabric container, so I re-potted into a 1 gal.
