Hey fellow growers. I'm getting my last 2 outdoor autos out for the season, and will take a break until spring. I've had some really bad luck with my last few seedlings. I lost 3x Auto Ultimates and 1x Auto Orange Bud. 1 to sudden, unexpected heavy rain, 1 to a gecko dropping in on it, and 2 to damping off. So this time I'm trying to do the first week under some CFL lights. I have a 2xPL26 downlight that is used for store lighting, that I will try to veg under a little before heading outside. The setup isn't fancy and it's my first time growing anything under lights, but I'm going to do some hot peppers in there too. This run is 1x Auto Orange Bud and 1x Auto Cinderella Jack. I have a 12V pc fan connected up to give some airflow The seeds germinated no problem, soaked for 24 hours in RO water, transferred to paper towel for 24 hours, popped into a coco-perlite/peat moss mix and in 24 hours they popped up. Day 1 was 12 Feb 2020. I obviously didn't have the lights close enough - I was worried about them burning? So they stretched a LOT very quickly and I've had to support them with some wire and a very gentle string tie. As soon as the stems are thick enough, I'll start thinking about moving them outside. I'm not sure exactly what my next moves are, most people will tell you to re-pot and just bury the stems , so that they don't have long stems out the ground, right? Well that's what I would think too, but then you risk getting damping off and I really don't want that to happen (again), so I may just let them be leggy and support them with something. But dam, long legged seedlings are prone to wind and rain damage, so lets see... If there are any chilli heads out there - I'm simultaneously sprouting some carolina reapers, trinidad moruga scorpions, bahamian goats, mini rocoto yellows, scarlett lantern perus, hungarian hot wax and jalapenos. They may pop up now and then in my latest 2 diaries :) Thanks for following along with the next chapter... Peace out ✌️🌱

Hello!

@Lesss, thanks for stopping by :) She did turn out bigger than I expected since flowering, but still on the small-ish size after comparing to the Think Different auto I grew earlier. I think with more daylight hours, this strain would do great outdoors. I'll definitely give this another shot in Spring/Summer, I'm starting to love citrussy sativas!🍊🍋
