I topped last week, it stretching a bit... I’ve never grown from clone before so it’s definitely a noticeable difference of grow structure. Still at half nutrients and I haven’t changed the reservoir in 3 weeks, but next week I think it’ll be time. GLOOKIES in flower tent now starting 2nd week. Hopefully everything times out right for a nice smooth perpetual move in a couple months.

This past week I super-cropped the shit out of them. Every branch, folded to spread out the area... they are still recovering. I just did a reservoir change, noticed some purple stems... I let them go without nute change and just adding water for a couple weeks... they are getting a decent root ball in bucket now so I’ll change weekly from now on.

The past week they were sitting at about 1800 ppm. No burn... seems to be a pretty tolerant strain to salty solutions. Currently sitting about 1600 ppm, no res change yet. I’ll push it a few more days, watch for deficiencies. Clones are growing, on track for another huge scrog come bloom time. Had a vision- applied it. LST.

Everything going good. Changed reservoir today. Should be good for a couple weeks again. ———————————————— Had a bit of a spill over today... caught it somewhat quick. The tap roots are growing so long I ended up with some inside the reservoir, I didn’t have this problem last time. Roots blocking drain pipe, bucket over flowed. Only 1” drain line with 3/4” supply. I don’t want to redo the plumbing. I lifted plants, roots bright white and healthy. Dropped them back down with tap root back in bucket.

Ran into a problem with overgrown roots, caused a blockage and water overflowed the top of 5 gallon bucket. Happened last week but just reset, the. happened again yesterday. So upgraded the 5 gal buckets to 17 gal totes. They went without water for about 24 hours so they are looking a little sad.

Bottom third defoliation, I took a few super thin branches off bottom that I should not have, thinned it out a bit more than I wanted. Will need to take clones this week. 4 Clones taken, and in propagation tent. Plants moved to bloom tent, I was pretty rough with them, end of a long day and forced them into submission. They are recovering.

Still training. Moved a few more branches over to slower spots, want to flip as soon as healthy and vibrant. Took some water out and added some base nutes. Might do a full Rez change when I got time this week, definitely if I switch to flower.

Day 1 Plants have recovered nicely from HST, just flipped light on to 12/12 today. Hopefully canopy grows even during stretch. The tent had no light for about 30 hours prior to flipping lights on. DAY 2 Changed Reservoir, trying out the dry nutrient recipe I found on internet. These measures are for vegetative stage. Exact amount put into my 100L of water in flowering tent system. System started a little hot at 220PPM. First bucket, Calcium Nitrate only, mixed, dumped in reservoir. Next bucket everything else except magnesium sulphate, mix and dump. Last bucket magnesium sulphate only. No crystallization, no precipitation. Calcium Nitrate - 150.7 grams Trace Elements - 10 grams Monopotasium Phosphate - 34.8 grams Potassium Sulphate - 11.5 grams Potassium Nitrate - 52.2 grams Magnesium Sulphate - 121.2 grams Fulvic Acid - 100mL from homemade concentrate. Finishing PPM is 2574. Will need to cut measurements in half next run... diluted reservoir as much as possible, added 48.7 additional liters to 148.7 total. New PPM 1900. My veg tent reservoir still needs nutrients and a reservoir change. I’m going to pump half of flower res into veg res and refill to dilute both reservoirs to get the desired PPM... just waiting on RO water production... Dilution completed, both tents now sitting at 1480 PPM. Acceptable range for me. Day 5 Dropped lights on to 11 hours to help with bloom transition. The Pistils are taking longer than I remember to show, can see some but largely missing... lots of vertical growth. The yellowing from initial 30 hour dark period is gone with new growth. No top ups in water due to high starting level, PPM is dropping slightly more than water transpiration. Currently sitting at 1390. Day 7 All week there was no reservoir top ups, water level sitting at about 80 Liters and PPM 1280. Was fairly balanced all week, PH was fairly stable, siting at about 6.3 from a start point of 5.8. Sat around 6.2 most the week. Today I cut a lot of short branches and leaves below first scrog net. Few more twin hairs popping on higher nodes. Today is res change and new week update.

Day 7 For week 2 flower, I changed some dry nutrient mass for transition toward bloom weights, used less veg ratio, more bloom ratio, kind of met in the middle but kept Trace Elements at 10grams. Changed Reservoir; 25mL silica 75 grams Calcium Nitrate 10 grams Trace Elements 25 grams Potassium Nitrate 25 grams Potassium Sulphate 40 grams Monopotassium Phosphate 66 grams Magnesium Sulphate 150mL of Fulvic Acid from concentrate. 300mL 3% H2O2 With 100 Liters of water, it ran a bit hot at 2000 PPM. Added 25 additional liters for 1500 PPM. PH balanced out to 5.8 without any additional corrections. Last week was the first week of 100% dry nutrient regiment. After 7 days, I think the plants seem quite good... Plus now knowing that the recipe needed to be cut in half of previous amounts, my 5kg bags of everything is going to last twice as long... best way to grow for sure, $200 for a year+ of fertilizer!? YEP! Day 8 Added 20 Liters of RO with 700 PPM of Cal-Mag with a foiler spray of cal-mag. Day 9 Added 100mL of CX-Horticulture Headmasta Day 10 Added 5 liters of water with 930 PPM of Cal-Mag. I want to try to drop my PPM’s... I’ve been thinking next week I’ll cut my nutes in half again. I want to try to be around 800 so I got room to keep adding calcium without over feeding... plants are showing signs of calcium deficiency again. Maybe keeping calcium nitrate at 75 grams, and magnesium at 66 grams while cutting the others in half will help. Doing that next week! Any thoughts about when too much calcium locks out another element? Hmmm. So after the night cycle, lights turn on, I take a peak, and fuck me... they stretched like a motherfucker...getting tall, little worried now, that’s a good amount height and light is high as it can go... hope the stretch ends sooner than later... I decided to start pulling some fan leaves, 1...2...3... 200...201....456...457... she pretty naked now... :/ I guess it’s defoliation vs. no defoliation side-by-side time!!! Woop! woop! Hopefully a day 10 flower defoliation is okay... cause it happened. Day 11 Added 20 liters of water and 150mL of Cal-mag, 100 mL of old Big Bud (almost gone). Found out that my head masta has the amino acid and vitamin I’ve wanted to introduce... so I guess I’ll be throwing that into the mix as well... I think all the extra calcium has finally kept the deficiency at bay... I’m going to make a new recipe that’ll work for me for next res change on Sunday. I might just quarter the base nutes except calcium and magnesium and introduce headmasta and mighty flower enhancer. Day 12 Added water and Cal-Mag Day 13 Added Calcium Nitrate to 1800 PPM

Day 14 Changed Reservoir, however, had a starting PPM of 550. Calcium Nitrate 75.8 grams Trace Elements 10.1 grams Potassium Sulphate 17.8 grams Monopotassium Phosphate 13.5 g Magnesium Sulphate 66.8 grams Headmasta 100mL Mighty Bloom Enhancer 100mL Fulvic Acid Powder 100mL Humic Acid Powder 100mL H2O2 200mL Sweet Citrus 80mL Big Bud 80mL Purpinator 20mL Final PPM.... 1850 PH ended up at 6.5... want to do a calibration soon.... The last couple days the PH was dropping rather fast from a stable 6.1, ended up at 5.3 at Rez change. Right side heavy defoliation has bounced back nicely... I have noticed that it is slightly behind in bud development from the left non-defoliation side. However, there is definitely more canopy penetration and lower bud sites may have more output with defoliation... and after only a small loss in bud development nice and early. Time will tell whether this technique is right for me. I’m just really surprised on the stretch this round, they are much higher than I wanted them, I think it’s because I let them recover for a week longer than the last crop. Maybe I should supercrop to fit under net and flower after only a few days... *tip for next grow*. I am happy to say with confidence, I have defeated the deficiencies with this strain, calcium and magnesium deficiencies are under control by adding way more cal-mag then I ever would have imagined they need. Definitely first and second on the feed chart and should be a primary nutrients for sure. Happy leaves!!!! Wooties! Day 15 Added 10 liters of RO water only. The 6.5 PH has dropped to 6.3 in 12 hours as expected. Added an hour to lights on schedule, now sitting at 12/12. I found a local supplier for soluble humic acid 93% powder. I’ve been looking online and couldn’t find a decent price on 5 pound bag. Another item checked off... just need some cheap aminos, b-vitamins and maybe some yucca in powder form and I am set. Day 16 pH holding steady 6.1, PPM 1650. Added 10 liters of RO water with 750 PPM of Cal-Mag and 800 PPM of Potassium Sulphate. Day 17 PH 6.2 Added 20 litres of RO with 25mL of cal-mag. Looks like some leaf tips might be getting a little bit of nute burn, just some slight yellowing on the very tips... I assume it’s due to adding humic acid which makes the nutrients much more available to the roots. I’d like to drop PPM 15-20% next week with the humic addition. Day 18 PH 6.1 Added 11 litres of RO water and 11 grams of Jack’s Hydro which brought the PPM in bucket to 1100. Added to reservoir and res PPM is 1550. Added a couple tablespoons of epsom salt. Day 19 PH 6.0 Added 20 liters of RO with about 50mL of CALiMAGic Day 20 PH 5.8 Forgot I turned vent fan down to 10% and now the PH dropped to 5.8. Higher heat meant they drank more water then nutrients. Turned the fan to 30% now but still night cycle. Will pull a bucket out and pour in veg reservoir, replace with RO to lower PPM to stabilize PH. 8 fricking hours later... Okay, so pulled out 15L dumped in veg, added 10L into bloom and 100mL of cal-mag. Noticed left plant showing more calcium deficiencies so gonna bump up the feed of cal mag for next week.

Day 21 This morning the pH dropped fast to 5.4, luckily, it’s reservoir change day! Drained the res, filled up with 80 liters and some floraklean, ran about 4 hours and then drained again, filled to 100 litres and added nutes... CALiMAGic 60mL Calcium Nitrate 76.6 grams Trace elements 11.90 grams Monopotassium Phosphate 23 grams Potassium Sulphate 35.5 grams Magnesium Sulphate 60.4 grams Humic Acid concentrate 100mL Fulvic Acid concentrate 100mL 3% Hydrogen Peroxide 300mL Head Masta 100mL Mighty Bloom Enhancer 25mL Big Bud 50mL Purpinator 80mL Sweet Citrus 100mL Ending pH was 6.2 and the PPM was 1875...more than I wanted!!! Must add H2O to dilute!!!... ...added 40 extra liters for total of 140L with new pH of 5.9-6.0 and PPM of 1460... Day 21 PH is 5.7 and PPM at 1490, Going to dilute more... pH 5.7, PPM 1150 It appears that defoliation on right plant at day 10 prolonged the stretch a couple days, it really shot up. Sooooo close to the lights, they will probably bleach. I’ll have to watch and supercrop when I see it. Day 22 Plants showing calcium deficiency :( Cranking up the Calcium again. Added cal-mag, I’m raising PH to help with calcium absorption as per an online read suggesting 6.2-6.5 for calcium absorption. pH now 6.4, PPM 1150 Day 23 Added RO and 150mL of cal-mag. Looks like the calcium deficiency is getting worse, thinking that article screwed up numbers and was talking soul, going try a lower pH of 5.2-5.5 as per a different website... maybe lower is best for this plant... it hasn’t really seen the the lower end of the ph for lengthy periods. ...30 minutes later.... pH now 5.5, will lower a bit more in the AM. PPM 1450 Day 24 Added 35 liters water, it dropped the PPM to 1150, then moved 15 liters to veg reservoir. Added 150mL cal-mag and about 40 grams of calcium nitrate. PPM stabilized around 1600. Added 20 more liters 4 hours later. PPM prolly around 1490. Plants showing some signs of nute burn along side the calcium deficiency. I should drain and redo nutrients with mostly calcium and 1/5 everything else. Not sure how I’m still getting calcium deficiency. Crazy. Adding so much calcium I’m getting way more PPM than I want... more water too... Day 25 I have drained the res completely, it was sitting at 40 PPM after I filled up to 100 liters and then, I ran the pump... the PPM ended up at 450 from salts in the root balls... I decided to run with it... I added 100 mL of cal mag, 300 mL of 3% h2O2, and some PH down... now sitting at 5.4 pH, and 650 PPM. Day 26 pH this morning was 4.5, added Baking soda to 5.9. Added 21 liters of water to replace to 100 Liters, PPM was 550. Added 50g of calcium nitrate and now the PPM is 900.

Day 28 Changed the res, final ppm 1050. Day 29 Added 15 liters RO, added 60mL of Cal-Mag. I still can’t get ahead of the calcium deficiencies. Leaves are yellowing with the spotty calcium deficiency everywhere. Some leaves are mostly yellow and dying at the tips. Can a phenotype of cannabis just be incapable of sucking up enough calcium?? I know the calcium is there... so weird. Pretty sure after these clones I’m going to get another strain or maybe start fresh with new Glookies seeds. Day 31 Did a very light defoliation on both plants of just the most yellowing, calcium deficient upper leaves. Added 15 liters of water, pH 6.3 PPM 1200 I did some searching online, seems everyone has a different opinion on PPM of different elements. So I found some suggested desirable week 4-5 NPK ratios and PPM and ran them through a calculator to get my grams for 100 litres of water. I will likely have to tweak them but as my plants are already showing signs, going to be hard to see if it works, but it’s gotta be the same or better than what I got now. The numbers from site and calculator are slightly different numbers then Ive been using. So....... I want to try it ASAP. I may drain and redo res or wait till Sunday, not sure yet. Day 32 Changed the res to check out new recipe... it’s pretty salty. PPM 2050 pH 6.3 Calcium Nitrate 46.3 grams Potassium Nitrate 41.2 grams( this was null for last recipe in bloom) Potassium Sulphate 3.1 grams Monopotassium Phosphate 34.3g Trace 15 grams Magnesium Sulphate 70.7g Headmaster 100 mL Mighty Bloom Enhancer 100mL H2O2 300mL Sweet Citrus 100mL Not sure how I feel about this recipe. I didn’t expect the PPM to be so high. I’ll likely be draining the reservoir again, filling with RO and letting the 500 PPM of salts that remain just chill till Sunday. Sad times. ...res drained and filled, PPM 685, pH 6.3. Added Humic and Fulvic, 50mL and 100mL respectively. Day 33 pH had dropped to 5.8 and the PPM was about 600, I added 20 liters of RO, PPM became 400. So I decided to add more nutrients. I got 8 grams of calcium nitrate, mixed throughly, threw it in. Then, I got 12 grams of Jack’s hydroponic 5-12-25 and threw that in and lastly, 4 grams mag sulphate. I believe that’s the 3-2-1 ratio jacks like to be mixed. pH is 5.8, PPM is 700. I’ve added 3 pictures of desired elemental PPM, the calculator I used, and ratio. Day 34 Added baking soda to increase pH from 5.4 to 6.0, other then that, didn’t do shit. I did however, come up with an idea for reaching the back of tent for some defoliation... grabber tool with a razor! I was gonna drill and bolt on a razor, but there’s a magnet in this particular grabber. I gotta realign the razor after a few snips but worked out great. Photos of it added!!!

I cannot get ahead of calcium deficiency in spite of adding calcium nitrate base with extra cal-mag daily. I just keeps getting worse and worse... any advice? Hydroponic RDWC, day 29 flower. It’s fine in veg, once they hit bloom, can’t keep them healthy.

I don't know... looks like you add plenty of nutes. You use calcium-nitrate, no way it's a calcium deficiency. That'd be dfiicult to do. Also, Ca problems take months to display... so relieving it may take time too? not sure on that part but the rest i am pretty confident about. Just because it doesn't react immediately doesn't mean it's not improving in some contexts. don't let that cause you to do more stuff that isn't directly related. you could be locking Ca out. your mag-suflate (not likely mL/gal? if so, need molarity to dose correctly) looks extremely high, which high Mg concentrations would lock out Ca. 1 gram per gallon of dry foodgrade cheap epsom salt (mag sulfate) is all you need... 11mL or ~11g would be a huge overdose if fed each time that way Assumes pH and total dissolved solutes aren't out of whack. the whole idea that bloom requires more of this and less of that is not proven anywhere. Stick to a healthy ratio of each at a proper concentration and pH. You see a white paper with suitable sample size, methodology and equipment listed along with conclusions and questions, i.e. a proper study, then you can think about changing up nutes for vege and bloom. Take that with a grain of salt too, since 90% of all initial scientific studies are later proven false. there's a reason why anecdotal evidence is a logical fallacy. You have 4 weeks left or so? ease back a bit. it's almost certainly lockout. hit the reset button and give it a little time.

Check out this long reach, back of tent, 2-in-1 leaf cutter/remover I made. Just a lazy man grabber tool, magnets and razor blade... I was gonna drill a hole and mini bolt it threw but the grabber came with a magnet. Just added a couple more and it’s strong enough to make cuts.

Day 35 Drained reservoir, added new recipe at half the dose. Seems to have worked cause I’m right where I wanna be, 1200-1300PPM in week 5. Next week I’ll shoot for 1600 with extra MPK for the week 6 boost. I could have done without the Potassium Sulphate, but it’s only 3 grams, not gonna hurt nothing. At this rate, I got 10 years of adding 3 grams per week before I use up my supply. I also feel I need more Calcium Nitrate at some point because of the signs of Calcium deficiency but for now, I’m not gonna change the recipe too much. It is what it is. Last week I started to get some light bleaching on 2 Kolas that were closest to light, I super-cropped them and laid them on the canopy. Even with all the yellowing leaves, the buds are still growing nicely and decent size for start of week 5. I think it’s a little bigger than last grow at week 5, will have to view again. Grow big and strong my pretties!! Day 37 Added 10 liters of RO pH 6.2 but dropped it to 6.0 with pH⬇️ PPM 1200 Day 38 Added 10 litres RO pH 6.0 PPM 1140 Added about 40mL Cal-Mag Added 100mL Hydrogen Peroxide New PPM 1275 Day 39 Added 13 litres RO pH 5.9 PPM 1200 Added 6g jacks 5-12-26 Added 4g calcium nitrate Added 2g magnesium sulphate New PPM 1350 Day 40 Added 20 litres of RO pH 5.8 PPM 1220

First day of week 6! Hope she puts on some weight this week. 🤞 The purple on stems have been corrected with the extra Magnesium Sulphate this grow. The leaves are shit looking, but she is growing and I’m pretty much over trying to adapt nutrients to correct, I’m pretty sure it’s a phenotype problem at this point because a calcium deficiency with this balanced nutrition and ample supply of calcium is just... Im over it. Day 42 Reservoir Change; 100.3 Litres of RO Starting PPM 280, (didn’t drain completely) Calcium Nitrate 35.7 grams Potassium Nitrate 13.6 grams Monopotassium Phosphate 40.2g Trace elements 8 grams Magnesium Sulphate 40.2 grams Headmasta 100mL Mighty Flower Enhancer 100mL Fulvic Acid 100mL Humic Acid 100mL Purpinator 100mL H2O2 300mL Citrus Sweet 100mL Final PPM 1610 Was 6.4, dropped to 5.8 Day 43 Added 15 litre PPM 1550 PH 5.8 Day 44 Added 16 liters PPM 1475 PH 5.8 Day 45 Added 10 litres Added 20mL cal-mag Added 20mL MBE PPM 1575 pH 5.9 Day 46 Added about 25-30 Liters Added 20 mL cal-mag Added about 100mL of MBE PPM 1575 PH 6.3 Started UV treatments for trichrome production. 15 minutes half way through light cycle and 15 minutes 1 hour before night cycle. Increasing UV time on gradually until harvest. Last grow I started UV on day 52. Wanted to start earlier and see if she get even more frosty. Day 47 Added some AN overdrive Added RO PPM 1620 pH 6.3 Day 48 Rez change and week 7 tomorrow. Will do some defoliation of yellowing leaves

Day 49 New reservoir made, Starting PPM 200. Calcium Nitrate 37.6 grams Potassium Nitrate 13.5 grams Monopotassium Phosphate 23 grams Trace 6.5 grams Magnesium Sulphate 42.4 grams Headmasta 100 mL Mighty Flower Enhancer 100mL Citrus Sweet 120mL Purpinator 100mL Humic Acid 50 mL Fulvic Acid 100 mL PPM 1358 pH 6.5; added pH down to 6.3; added more to 5.9. Holding 5.9. I defoliated yellow leaves right plant on day 47, and my boredom pushed me to defoliate left side. Last few days the trichs have really popped, I can only assume the solarworks UVB fixtures are the culprit. Day 52 Added 20 liters RO ph 5.6 PPM 130 Day 52 1-1/2 Added 50mL Cal-Mag pH 5.5 Day 54 Added 30L of tap water with some Overdrive.

Day 56 New Rez change, partial drain and RO fill up. 125 Liters. 200PPM, ph 5.9 First day flush. Will flush again in 3 days to get to 80ppm. Day 59 Drained res, added florakleen and RO... PPM sub 100. Day 61 Drained the reservoir, added 100L new RO water, no florakleen. Pure RO at 20 PPM. Should be the last drink they get. I was going to harvest tomorrow on day 62, but trichrome inspection is only showing about 5% amber. I wanted to try and get a little more ambers this run. (Note for next run, keep nutrients till day 63, then start flush). Seems to be slower to ripen with this phenotype, hopefully not too much longer. Will chop Monday likely, possibly Tuesday... who knows!? Also, dropped lights on to like 10.5 hours and lowered the light wattage to the minimum.

DAY 62 1 day early of start of new week, just waiting for some more ambers, nearly ready🎉 Still running RO only, 40 PPM. Still keeping it pH’d, it likes to drop slowly still. However, I don’t get why pH is important during flush tho. Not like I need to keep nutrients available for plant to suck up... 🤷‍♂️ I’ve been considering drilling some holes into the base of the main stem as to simulate the stalk-splitting technique. Maybe it’ll help speed things up... I’ll check trichs again tonight when lights kick on and make an executive decision and post updated pictures if it’s a go ahead. Day 63 I split me some stalks! Uploaded a video of the procedure. Day 64 This phenotype is developing purple leaves? Photos uploaded. Day 65 Harvesting... Day 66 More Harvesting... Day 67 Taking clones, moving veg plants to bloom tent. This grow is drying.

This grow was a bit stretched, took longer to finish then the previous grow. Buds are dense, lots of fluff from below canopy and no real huge colas. Was a decent harvest at a gram per watt, but I want to get more!!!
