Thank you @Humboldt Seeds!😀 I'm very excited to get started on these girls. I plan on topping and doing my first scrog.😵 I'll start them off in the cup then transplant when ready! I'm using Super Soil, so it's just add water... Germination... 24 hours in water, then paper towel... forgot to take pics 😱 Let's get the party started!

Great week!😁 The girls are growing nicely. GB#1 is seems to be out growing GB#2... on day 5, GB#2 looked like it fell over.😱 Growth was slowed but she still looks healthy. I propped her stem up with a small bag clamp and by day 8, she seems to be doing fine.💪 1/4 cup of water every 2-3 days. Should be transplanting mid-week.

The Gorilla's grew... 😍 These girls are really taking off. Having no issues what so ever... except... a little bit of light burn on the tips from them growing so fast and I think I got it just in time 😁 The light is about 18" from them now. Here we are.... topping and scrogging! 😁 The two girls lost their tops, cleaned-up underneath. I did keep an extra node instead of waiting and topping again to get four... with four plants in the tent, I figured four main buds from each pot. Because I got high... because I got high.... 😵 Yep, this week I got high and kinda had a brain fart...😝 removed some fans when I should have waited...😐 The growth slowed a little so I will just add an extra veg week. I find the arms on the girls are stiff... not sure how good the scrogging will be, but as long as I'm gentle (and not screaming high), I hope to make it work. The gorilla girls are growing nicely.... a little slower then I expected but I am training the shit out of them😝 I did leave a couple of nodes down low so I can use them as clones... Probably mid-week I'll clean-up anything under the netting and get ready for the flip. Some of the arms couldn't be held down with the scrog, so I used some homemade weights to keep them under control. Good Week of training the girls! Mid-week, I did some aggressive training because I was thinking I would be switching to 12/12... and I was right... I did!!!😁 From my first few grows, I usually did 24 hrs of darkness before the switch, this time, I decided to try 14 hrs of darkness instead... and I just picked 14 hrs out of the air for no rhyme or reason... just wanted more then 12...😝. They are responding well to the training and I will continue to weave them in and out of the scrog for another 2 weeks, do a heavy defoil, then hopefully sit back and watch the them bloom...😍 I installed another screen about 10" above, just in case the girls get big and heavy.... gotta have hope...😳 Enjoy! Great first week of flower! I did some training mid-week, and I think I will do some more before next weekend... that will take me to the 2 week mark... then hopefully, I can leave them alone and watch the ladies grow!😎 I do plan on doing a heavy defoil next weekend... and maybe try and grab so clones to try 'monster cropping' I think it's called that.😳 I noticed the pots a little drier then usual, so I think I'll give 1 L / 2 days and see how that will work out. The girls are ready to blossom... 😀 Did some training and a light defol... was going to go heavy, but being my first scrog, I decided less is more 😁 I do see where I could have and maybe should have removed some smaller arms... they are still getting lots of light, just not as strong as some others... might end up removing them this week.... gotta think some more 😜 With the light defol, there is lots of air movement underneath the net. I was going to change up the watering schedule, but decided to wait another week.... but I did add some blackstrap molasses with the watering... 😲 Let's grow!!! I'm really thinking about doing a defol in the next couple of days... still have little bit underneath the net. I used a yarn type of netting and the girls are pulling on it... hopefully they will hit the 2nd net and all will be good. I did pull some babies off (never reach the light) and going to see if I can root and reveg.... have a couple from last week rooted and already put in the soil... if they take, I post some pics. BAM! New week, new white hairs 😜 The gorilla's are doing great! Drinking lots of water, still stretching a bit and looking mighty fine. I don't have any reading for run-off, as I only water enough to only drip a bit from the bottom...but as you can see, the girls are getting fed quite well. They're starting to get some sweet trichs on them.... and i'm not sure what kind of smell yet since it's still weak, so I won't comment.. 😛 There is one bud that the hairs already browned up.... keeping an eye on that one...😵 Ba-Bam!!! Beautiful week! The GB's are starting to fatten up nice... with a little bit a sugar starting to show! I believe they hit their max height... and drinking is increased. Watering 2 L every 2 days now. The soil is drying nicely.... I love those fabric pots! The smell is getting stronger, just can't identify yet... and yes, stickiness is there.... BAM! And that's that.... love these kinda weeks!!! WooHoo! 😄 Decided to buy a new light and it came this week! 😎 Hollandstar 1800W 6x COB, supposed to equal 800 hps, and only 300w at the wall. Would have loved it from the start of the grow, but I still have 2-3 weeks left... every little bit helps 👌 It did increase the temp by a couple of degrees, but to counter that, I just turn the outtake fan full throttle. The girls are doing great. The smell is really starting to get defined... A Diesel smell with some earthy tones... but the diesel is definitely the primary. I was hoping for 2 different pheno's when first planted, but the girls are very close to twins... both growing the same, both has the same smell.... YAY for me!!!😍 I love twins! They're drinking great, still taking 2L/ 2 days but I think I might start staggering... 2-3-2. When you give them a gentle squeeze, you can feel how rock hard they're becoming! BAM!!! Another good week, another week closer... 😁 The girls seem to like the new light even though they have stop growing in height. You can see that they're starting to fatten up. I did do a defoli... removed most of the big fan leaves with the long stems. I tried this technique before with a sativa strain and it seem to work well.... So lets try it with an indica 😜 I'm gonna stay with the 2L every 3 days... the girls seemed to really like that schedule. Getting really sticky, and the trichs are starting to get a bit cloudy... will have pics of them next week. Let's get this party started... 😜 The girls gave me a little twist... GB#2 decided to change colour.... not sure if its dark purple, black, but I know she looks fantastic. GB#1 is stayed nice and green. 😀 They are at Day 57 of flower, on the package, it list 65-70 days... well, they are really maturing quickly. I checked the trichomes, and seen more then expected amber trichs... (sorry for the 'not so sharp' pics of the trichs..)😵 The temps for the next two nights will be 10 C or a bit lower... hoping that will help push out more and really finish them up. I decided not to give them their watering today, which last watering was 3 days ago... I'm going to leave them in the dark for a possible 48 hrs... I've tried this technique before, and for that strain it worked well... so let's try the Gorilla's. Let's hope for more resin production...😍 Not sure if the extra light helped or not since it was only in there a week or so... it did change some colouring on some leafs that were underneath the netting... will know more next grow on the light. Where do we start... 😵 The Gorilla Breath girls finished early then expected. Could have been the lower temps at night or possibly the extra stress I put them under... 😁 The Scrog technique was challenging... I should have striped more arms off so it would have directed more energy into the main arms... Another area I should have done different was the watering... I usually water until I have run off.... but always found I was loosing too much nutrients... so this time I gave them water until I seen a little run off coming out the side (middle) of the cloth pot... thinking the water was getting all the way down... the water did not and the bottom half of the pot had zero roots in them... another reason for low yield. I also tried the heavy defoliation technique since I have tried it before on different strains... I don't believe it helped... keep it to a simple defoliation. Besides my mistakes, I am really happy about the quality of the bud... I have some rock hard buds, some airy buds, and all buds are covered in thick trichomes...😍 I did get some clones from them.... I kept 1 from veg state and 2 from the flower stage... (1 from 3 week flower and 1 from 5 week flower) The Veg clone is doing awesome, the 3 week flower clone is doing good and the 5 week flower clone is just starting to take root... I think... it's not dead yet anyways... 😜 They are all for outdoor grow and super excited to have the chance to do it again... They dried in recorded timing for me at 4-5 days... I wish they have took longer... scared of getting the hay smell... but the stock was very dry and ready for the jars... let the curing begin! I vaped a little bud to give it a try and wow.... I really can't wait for it to be cured... feels quite potent already. The taste is mixed from fresh taste, diesel, and bud that wasn't cured yet...😛 will update! I am sad I made some mistakes with this very awesome strain... but extremely excited to smoke it all! I know right now I am going to love it... Completely recommend.... 😍 Thanks HSO for the seeds!
