Week 2, Day 10: all 5 seedlings has emerged from the coco that I've prepared. Most of them are between 6-9cm tall and 4 true leaves has appeared.
Been feeding my self made nutrients equivalent to the GH main 3 Floral Series. The coco that I have bought is from a 5.5kg block which i buffered with Calmag solution of 150% strength and left overnight for 8+ hours. The girls seems healthy and happy at the moment however I have read some reviews that these 2 strains BCN Critical XXL & Big Bud XXL are not hard to care for and mostly forgiving on the nutes.
I always ensure that my PH levels are within par of 5.5-6.5 & the recommended PPM according to the feeding schedule of GH label instruction which is between 300-400 ppm.
The other 3 plants are Landrace Sativas which I grew earlier and 2 has been given LST (Low Stress Training) back 5 days ago and I noticed that the smaller leaves are thriving into bigger fan leaves and thicker branches! I overdid the 1st plant which seem to be slightly overbent including the main stem which quickly recovered and healed overtime. these plants are really amazing to watch them grow.
I will be transplanting the 5 autoflowers into a 5 gallon pot in another day or 2,until then happy growing! 😸
Hi 1 of my Autoflowers that was potted on 1st March 2020 only grew 2 nodes after 20 days, the rest of the same autos are now into their 4th node. Did I miss something out? it is currently on Veg fert with Ph of 6.3 and 620 PPM
Its stunted from topping as I see zero other reason for it, this happens sometimes being more risky to do it earlier than forth node.
I know photos can do this but autos you will have more consistent luck finding another training method.
Sometimes it works and thats great but others you get a dwarf or worse. Will still produce I think.
"Never stress an auto" its what I go by.
Good luck they look good other wise 😃
Invisible bugs has been eating the fan leafs on a slow rate, approximately 10% of a random leaf will be bitten every 2-3 days. Entering 3rd week of flowering.Should I be concerned or any advice on remedy will be much appreciated
Hi @richgrows it may be a slug, snail or caterpillar, they are more active during the dark period. It may be hidden by the plant, in the leaves, in the substrate or even under the pot. It is best to thoroughly inspect everything. you can also apply some prevention product like biobizz leaf coat or canna protect. good luck mate 👍
@Mrs_Larimar, I was worried it was transplanted on day 14 along with the rest of the girls.all 5 but 1 is stunted.the rest are growing well though. Its into day 22 now and still on 2nd node
