So, as you can see on last week's questions, I ended up causing a nutrient burn on both my plants so this week I decided to slow down with the nutes and put around 400ppm. I think Gelato's pistils are around 30/35%, so I would say (by the speed it took to get to where it is now) one or two more weeks until I flush for a week and then harvest? The Jack is a little weird. The pistils from lower buds are around the same as Gelato, but the one at the top is not changing at all... I will give it some more time and check again. Anyway, I think I wont have a problem if the Jacks are behide once I want to use the Gelato to have a more relaxing effect before going to bed, so I would have no problem waiting for the Jacks to get ready before harvesting both.

Should I worry about the white dots on the Gelato Kush leaves? Also, since the beggining the Gelato is behide the Jack. Is there anything I can do? Is this a problem?

your earth is COCO earth with lots of perlite and you mentioned clay pebbles as well. Those don't include any nutes in them so best advice would be to start feeding as soon as possible.just dont let it starve,it won't be able to find nutrients in the medium as its roots get bigger.you'll fertilize the coco with nutrients.and set your ph to 6.0-6.1 for this stage. guy talking about soil obviously

Hi @ILikeTomatoes your plants seem to me not too ripe to bloom. still have no structure and branches developed to give a good bud formation, they need to create some more shoots. normally I start flowering with an average of 7-9 weeks depending on the speed that they stretch. good luck in flowering mate 👍

I was bending my plant to take it away from the light and when doing so, I ended up bending it a little too much and could hear it snapping, but I immediatelly moved it back and now it seems like its normal, I can't really tell. Will it die? Will I lose part of the plant?

Take a look at where the plant snapped. Did it actually break or did it just crush the stem? Either way its honestly not a big deal and the plant will recover just fine, it's just how you help it is different. If the stem actually snapped and it is broken open, grab some plastic wrap and tape to set it back in place and bandage it up. the plastic wrap will keep moisture in, seal the wound from infection, and make it easier to remove the tape once healed. It shouldn't take super long time to heal. Maybe 5-7 days. If you don't think its fully healed leave the bandage on longer. If the stem just wound up getting crushed and isn't snapped open then you don't need to bandage it up, even if the outer skin has cracked a little. This is actually a high-stress training technique used to help train down stubborn stems that don't want to easily bend. even though its is labeled as a high-stress training, it really doesn't phase the plant at all. I was experimenting with a plant a few grows ago where I did tons of super cropping breaking each branch 5-6 times over the course of the grow and then tying them down. Each time o crushed the stems and bent em down, they were back up and starting to recover already the next day within 24 hours. So if this is what happened I wouldn't worry about it. all in all the plant will recover just fine. Even if that 1 branch broke off completely it wouldn't kill the plant. That one branch would just be lost. Thankfully here it seems like it is still quite attached so you will be just fine. Good luck with this and I hope for a speedy recovery! if you need any more assistance feel free to dm me!

So, I'm growing two different strains and reporting weekly on my diary since the beginning. One of the plants is developing a lot faster than the other and I think I may have to end its flowering first? Im not sure how to deal with it because this is my first grow ever.

So, I think Im getting close to finally harvest my plants and I would like to get any advices you can give me based on the pictures/reports on my journal. I am mostly worried about the buds difference between them (they're not the same strain) and how to proceed about it.

Hello.. Hope you are well.. They both look n sound lovely.. Ok cuz they in separate pots just carry on feeding as u are.. I see they are 6 wks into actual 12/12 so maybe 2wks on gelato n 3wks on jack.. Im kinda in separate minds tho now tbh.. Avin a gud look at them they both look around same phase/stage in bloom.. The gelato girl looks fat but is that just her genes im now thinkin.. U see them every day so u'll know best.. Keep feeding as normal and in wk start to add pk boosters(sparingly) if u plan to use them.. Then start flush.. If in 1-2wks either of them are still showing active growth and fresh white pistils all over plant still just add an extra wk on her schedule.. If 1 starts getting 2/3rds brown pistils n u can check trichs n looks gud(mostly cloudy, few amber) then flush her n carry on with normal feed on other-get ur humidy as low as possible in last wk/flush.. Stay safe n gud luck.. 👍🍀

What are those burns? Are they from underfeeding or overfeeding? I was using around 1300ppm but then I decided to use 1000 and it didnt get better...

I have the power of hid and I only start flower nutes at 600 ppm total. Your real high and now your girls are experiencing overfeeding. Always better to underfeed and give more if needed. Less is always best... I would run straight ph water until you get rid of some of those built up nutes. Cheers

Last week I noticed that the leaves were starting to burn on the tips and added a question here. Most ppl said I should give less nutrients so I started giving only 800ppm (I was giving them 1000). Today I noticed that the leaves were like this.

Hi. i Think you are a brave Person. You havent grown anything and startinga soilless. mj-grow. First of all i have aquestion to your domes… are this open domes=? because you are only doming cuttlings . Seedlings from seed you give a humifidier or " open domes" (that means aplasticbottle with holes ) for example. so enjoy your experiences in your first grow and stay strong... happy growing

@Mrs_Larimar, Im using this dome: https://hydroponic.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/AirDome-Kit.jpg Exactly like this: https://www.autoflower.net/forums/attachments/20160506_110504-jpg.620150 They're not on yet. I've read in some forums that you should only start both the autopots and airdomes once the roots are mature enough. They say around day 14, so I'm waiting for that and hand watering for now. From seed until they finished sprouting, I've left them on those small plastic bags with a lot of small holes (IDK if its visible on the pictures). Then I moved them to the final pots already. IDK if its visible but I started watering around the seedling really close to it, and with time I'm watering a little more distant, always in circles. Every 12 hours I give each of them around 40ml of water (I'm using a scoop of 30g of whey protein to measure for now so I'm not sure lol). Thanks for the wishes!

Day 37 update: Nothing really new again. Im just keeping the same pace and letting things work. I forgot to mention that at the beginning of the week I removed the umidifier.

Day 30 update: Nothing really new. Still using the same strategy as the beggining of the week. Plants look good as far as I can see and the colors are looking a little better.

Day 23 update: I cant get the same angles anymore so I will be uploading the photos differently for now. Im keeping the same pace I was on the last update. The first leaves are starting to get a little darker and Im a little worried because I dont know what it means. The plants are almost the same color so Im just leaving them as they are for now. Ill bring more updates if things change.

Day 18 update: Not really an update because I didnt change anything. Im just watching for now!

Day 13 update: So, the happy leaves were no effect from the airdomes. Even with the domes on, once the lights are off, the leaves come back to normal, so I decided to turn on the airdomes only during light schedule as the manufacturer says you should do. Apart from that, I have decided to turn on the autopots system and already avoided manual watering tonight. I will keep checking through the weekend to see how the plants will react. Nutrients are at 1000ppm right now.

Day 12 update: After around 12 hours with the air domes on, the plants were happier than they are on the pictures, leaves were trying to point up and seem stronger. After the 6 hours without light (and also without the air domes on), they came back to normal. I dont know if it was really the air dome making the difference because it was raining and pretty cold outside... Anyway I have turned on the domes again and Ill let then on 24/7 for the rest of the weekend as a test. Im now feeding them with around 900ppm, the goal is to check if they can handle around 1000 so I can turn the autopots on with that for the first week. The lighter green still the same as yesterday so I guess the this means theyre well fed.

Day 11 update: After 2 days of feeding, the plants, for some reason, started to get a less dark green and also started to look a little down. I’ve gave them one last meal and turned on the air domes just to make sure they receive oxigen if the roots are already reaching the dome. Apart from watering with nutrients directly on the medium, Ive added around 300ml of pure water on the autopot reservoir. The idea is to check if the roots are already able to drink that water through the weekend to check if its a good idea to turn the system on monday.

Day 10 update: Started feeding with General Hydroponics FloraNova Grow on day 9. ~600 ppm. I think theyre reacting well.
