As expected they are growing right. I have germinate them as usual, between a paper towel in a plastic bottle.
I have read that they don't need almost any fertilizers and that it's needed maintain a low EC on the first weeks, so I will try to keep them low fertilized.
They are growing a bit slowly than the others that I have. I guess that it's normal on this strain, I will have an eye on them (maybe they need more nutrients that I'm giving them).
As on the other diaries, I will start adding more photos per week since I discovered this website yesterday.
They're drinking less water than the others, also noticeable that they are growing clearly slower than the others I have.
The top fan leaves look a bit darker, so I think I am overfertilizing it a bit. As I read, this strain is very particular about fertilizers. I will reduce the dose and maybe maintain a lower EC till they look great again.
It's being defoliated and set under the screen, on the next days I will top her.
I've start giving them some C02 in form of C02 pads (mycellium). They looked hungry when I Lollipop them so I'm keeping the SoloTek Grow dose on this week too.
I'm happy with their growth, they're now forming buds. The smell and the color, I'm just in love with it. I've smoked this strain before, but never smell it on flowering, it's just another world of notes.
I've started adding some UVB+UVA (2%.6% respectively), the first day I place these lamps on I give them around 30 mins of exposure. Increasing each day 10 minutes the exposure. Right now I'm giving them 60 min of UVB+UVA exposure at the middle of the day (5h of normal light+1h of normal and UVB/UVA+6 of normal light). My goal is to achieve 2h of UV exposure per day until the 7th week.
The smell is nice, it's smells like citrus and maple wood.
I'm replacing the fan this week. This one doesn't stay well with the clamp and right now is dangerously close to OG Kush so I will replace it when I can.
I've been trying to take some macro photos of the pistils but I think I have to improve the setup to take clear images. Sorry about that.
They are looking nice. Some of the downside leaves are going yellow. Nothing to worry about, good signal of not overfertilizing them. I'm just waiting to see how they got fatter and fatter!
I'm starting my 4th flowering week. I'm giving them 1.8EC. The downside leaves are still falling. Some of them just drying. I'm a bit concerned right now.
During the first 3 weeks of 12/12, the plant goes into what's called the stretch, where it undergoes rapid growth; during this phase it needs a lot of nitrogen, which in this case is taking form the bottom leaves. TL/DR: it is nitrogen deficiency, give it some grow nutes.
They look smaller than the others. I've grown some OG Kush before, so I am not totally concerned about that. They usually look smaller but they got more compact flowers after all the process.
I have been overfertilizing them a little bit (some leaves got brown colour, so I reduce Monster Bloom Pro and give them osmosis water each 2 waterings)
