This week everything went fine big fat flowers everywhere. Lots of pistils. I had an issue where the trunk split in half.. I love this girl so much! Smells amazing
I'm sure that your autoflower can recover. If the snap would've happened later it could've caused a problem. Some people will top autos. They're made to be vigorous in growth early on. So I'm going to bet that she'll still produce for you. Wish you all the best during these tough times.
@Treenoded,
Yes, it is indeed fascinating. Or it's just your good mothering/ growing skills. Either way glad she's still alive and kicking for you. Congrats bud👍🥂
Green & clean!
@Huggomadd, Hey mate check my other post if you want I have more details on the grow and more pictures. I am pretty sure that it will get strong since it had a monsterous root system. And in fact it did. for 3 days it did almost nothing and yesterday and today it grew 6-7cms and started growing sidebranches as well. Finally it grew 3 nodes in 2 days which is fascinating.
@Treenoded, amazing! I originally planted within the final pot (3 gal), and that’s doing fine but I was growing more concerned that I couldn’t water to runoff (because then the coco would stay damp for days and days)...not to mention the rootball would look all kinds of odd... so...
You inspired me to take my tiny tiny seedlings and move them into solo cups (I figure, they’re only 6 days old, so either they hate it and die — or they take it fine and thrive) nestled within the 3 gal pot. I basically took three cups... the innermost one has no bottom and has a slit all the way up the side(makes it super easy to poop into the coco and just slide the cup out)...then outside of that, there’s a solo cup with tons of drainage holes, and outside that, it’s just a regular cup with a few small rocks to catch the runoff and give a little extra space for the water. I love your trick of making sure the coco you transplant into is the same humidity and nutrient solution. I’ll definitely be borrowing that idea when it comes time to transplant.
@briefbriefs, hi! due to space issues, i could accomodate 1 large pot and 2 solo cups. I found a bigger space for 2 plants and then I transplanted them carefully. I made sure that the coco was at the same humidity level and had the same nutrient solution with the solo cup in order to trick the plant and not stress it. The roots were all over the solo cup so I untangled them very very carefully so they wouldnt tie themselves. just a small push out and placed them in their pots carefully. The LSD had no issues, the cheese didnt really like it but it has grown a solid root system. The big bang has a huge root system as well and is really thirsty..
