Day 4 for the girls, 1st go at this strain so will be a learning experience, I was going to Scrog but only 3 of the 4 sprouted so I will just let them go with minimal training.
Day 8, not much to report and no problems so far. They are currently sharing half the tent with some autos that are still around 8 weeks off harvest. I will have to use the other half of the tent as things get cramped and this is when I will hang other lighting panels with approx 260w actual draw.
Day 20, topped the girls and transplanted into 5 gal fabric pots, 60/40 mix of canna terra professional and perlite, 1 of the girls is not happy I'm guessing transplant sho
Day 38, big defol and lots of training, had some warmer days than I would like and overnight has been cooler than expected at this stage but that's out of my control, was hoping they would stretch out a little more than they have but thats not the case, all in all I can't complain it's 1st time running these genetics so didn't know what to expect. Will just let them do their thing and play it week by week atm, cheers.
Day 43 and things are progressing well but I still have some time to make up if I'm going to stick to this year's planning and need to get this run done asap, I pulled the girls out and gave them a eco neem shower for preventative measures and I will flip them to flower by days end, hopefully they show no signs of nutrient deficiency I've encountered during flower while using up the old mega crop formula, I'm guessing it's a mag deficiency as Epsom salts seem to keep it in check. Any advice on this would be great. Stay safe and happy growing.
Day 50, cruising along, very easy to look after so far, when they show me they are in true flower I will start adding Bud Explosion and drop off the Epsom and Mega crop if need be.
Day 57, very happy so far, plants are just taking everything they get, a very easy strain to grow. Added Bud Explosion this week as flower has kicked in, really looking forward to the next month as temps drop in my part of the world. Thinking of letting temps be a little cooler in grow area as they seem to enjoy it.

Day 66, update is a few days late due to work commitments anyway temps are dropping and everything is going along nicely, got a oil heater set up with thermostat to keep temps in check when winter kicks in, I've changed up the watering/feed schedule from every 3rd day to every 2nd by just giving them slightly less each time to get more frequent feeds and that's about all I've had to do this week, it's been very smooth grow so far and that's all I could ask for, hoping for a big week ahead and hopefully see them flowers take off. Day 72, looking like a magnesium deficiency creeping in wich I was expecting because of the old mega crop formula, will be upping the Epsom salts and will hopefully fix the girls up, it will be a bit of a juggling act as I've noticed the Epsom salts raises EC by alot, may have to back off the boosters and slightly drop base nutes to do this. Cheers ...✌️
Day 79?, went a little easy on them this week with nutrients and will continue to do so as flowering cycle comes to an end, guessing approximately 4 weeks left till they are done..✌️
Day 86 and alot of changes this week, the girls have matured alot and they all are showing their individual characteristics. The 2 shorter plants have 2 very different smells, 1 being that classic OG gassy smell that you can actually taste in your mouth, the other is a very citrus Orange smell, the 3rd taller plant seems to have a mix of the 2, all 3 have fattened up nicely and are really starting to stank of goodness. Trichomes are almost all cloudy and If they keep going at this rate they will only be about 2 weeks from harvest. ✌️
Not long to go now maybe 10 days, they have started to fatten up and looks like the have stopped throwing white hairs. There's a few branches on 1 that keep flopping around that I might need to tie up. I'm really interested in that pheno as it's long buds are very different too the other 2 plants alot more of the Sativa genes showing through...hopefull makes for a good day time strain as I know the other 2 are very OG looking and the gassy smell makes me think they will be definite night time only smoke.💤 , Trichomes are still cloudy so I will continue with a once a week feeding at 1.6 EC and let the fade slowly catch up until I see Amber then they will be on water only until I'm happy to chop them....Cheers for stopping by.✌️
9th June Last week of flower. The girls have had water only and are fading nicely, Trichomes are starting to show some amber color.
11th June
Checking Trichomes and they have matured quickly... Around 20% Amber so I gave them a small watering so substrate is dry for harvest.
12th June
Chopping these girls down in 2 days
13th JJune
The girls are sitting in the dark ready for harvest tomorrow and it has been a pleasant experience running these genetics. I will definitely be running them again when they are available. I also think I've become a OG fan and will be looking into different crosses in the future....Next update will be harvest report thank you to everyone who stopped by and the positive comments....✌️
great strain to grow was very easy the whole way through. All 3 plants have different smells and bud structure. 1 is a hard hitting gassy type and great for deep sleep. The other 2 are very fruity orange and pineapple smelling and took all my worries away within minutes and left me smiling inside and out feeling very much at peace.

OK, that's a wrap on my 1st grow diary experience and I guess I'll start off with my simple dry technique.
Firstly I remove each arm and all fan leaves only and hang making sure to keep each plant separate, they were kept in a blacked out tent at 22-24 degrees Celsius and humidity between 50-60 for 8 days until popcorn dry, i then removed flowers and weighed in each plant separately, then in jars for burping and start the cure.

Saw Grey's comment in the GOTM thread and had to check out your grow. You knocked it out of the park man. This is beyond good for a first timer and I didn't even get close! to your numbers in my first. Congrats man. I'm with grey, you're looking real good for NOTM 👌👌. @JinksyGrows, Thanks alot mate. I can put it down to around 2 years of studying everything I could in stages every day and night about it and what best suits my situation before even trying. It became an obsession. I still have a lot more to learn and will try different things as my confidence and situation grows...I'm currently growing in a garden shed that I had to dig the clay ground out to fit my tent inside 😳. ✌️
Fantastic grow. Plants look beautiful and healthy. I received a Skywalker Kush and to be honest I didn't really have much interest in growing it until I saw this. I think you've changed my mind. 👍
