first time trying to LST from very little. ( I normally wait another week) .. till now my LST looked more like a "lean" lol, I just tried to pull the plant over and hope for the best.. now my goal is to tip the head down and gain many new tops right from the start then let those grow for a week or two before more LST
oh and both plants have a name now
day 29.... April 3rd
April first they received there second feeding of 2tbsp/gal of 50/50 2-8-4 / 4-4-4
Phoebe is really starting to explode... I am curious if she will flower soon or what will happen after the first month of stunted growth.
the girls have enjoyed being tied down and the plants seem to be enjoying it also
can somehow help me and tell me if this is a good light for veg? right now my garden has just about every type of light I could find lol and I know down the road I will upgrade everything but can you tell me a little about this please
Hi @tiny_hippy if it’s just for one plant, that’s fine, the light seems to me little potent for vigorous vegetative growth of several plants. the light spectrum is good. good luck mate 🍀🙏👍
Unless I am wrong, vegetative state requires 6500+ spectrum to activate rigorous growth.
That light is too weak for that optimal light range. Maybe as a supplement.
I wanna say no. It might do for a seedling and or the first week or so but it would not be enough light for healthy strong veg growth which is kind of what your looking for.
I have ordered two more spider farmer lights and they can not get here quick enough.. these little giants have been vegging under a tiny light and I think it shows with the slow growth.. they are much bigger then the last time you saw them.. I think when I get the new lights in they will be just about ready to take off for the pre flower stretch
