⚠️Detailed smoke report will be added once available! Harvested: ➡️Day 68 (25.05.2020) Overall it was a quite easy grow and a nice experience (espacially for my first grow). They almost went into flowering right away, stayed at a comfortable ~40cm and grew beautifull (and very tasty) Buds! 😋 I can only recomend them! --- ⚠️[ℹ️] INFO: The White Widow grow will be continued in the following journal: ➡️ https://growdiaries.com/diaries/64810-zamnesia-seeds-white-widow-grow-journal-by-luckyluke --- I wish you all an amazing Day! ~LuckyLuke 🤠 ~~ LUCKYLUKE: Weed made in Austria - since 2020 ~~

My Plants are hanging and starting to yellow and die from the bottom up. They also seem weak overall. See the attached pictures for a detailed view of them. Thank you in advance! ~LL

My first idea was also that they look quite dry and underfed. Your plant is probably like: I need to salvage what i can from what i need least so i'm going to suck the last live out of the lowest leaves and deliver it to the flowers. (I would not have cut off the leaves that where yellowing but still had some nutrients and water in them as the plant could have taken from them still.) If you over watered then your roots might have been damaged and then you need to make sure that the top third of your pot stays quite dry so that the roots can take up oxygen there and you water from the bottom so that the deeper roots can take up the water from there. Roots need water and oxygen so that they can deliver it up the plant if either of those are missing the plant kinda dries out. And the shallower roots typically take up the oxygen as the higher earth typically is dry enough for that and the lower roots are typically in the ground level water. So some root mass can be totally submerged in water as long as there is also root mass that can breathe. So with that info you have to judge yourself if they where over watered or not. If not they look quite dry and you would want to water them with some more nutrients. And since you have low humidity to begin with you might want to put those pots in like some porcellan or something that would allow you to have 3-4 cm of standing water in like a bowl or plate. That way you can water from the bottom and have standing water at all times helping with humidity. BUT if you go with those bowls under your pots and they are constantly having 3-4 cm of standing water you cannot!!! water them from the top no more because then the top roots could not breathe no more and even though your plant has masses of water it would dry up as explained before.

@@JP148, Haha well im not gonne comment on politics from the other side of the Planet, but... yeah youre not wrong haha. Im self isolating too, but with being in fire-rescue and stuff, so lets wait and see till they send us out to handle this crap 😅 I'd much rather stay at home with my ladies haha I wish you the best of health my friend, hopefully you dont get that sh-t. Stay (and grow/smoke) strong 💪

@LuckyLuke, yeah feel ya. I’m self isolating. Have bad lungs. Primed for this thing to take me out. Well after Trump bails out the big corporations and let’s the workers back to work so they can give and get this thing to each other. Trump will have to loosen immigration just to replace the workers he sent back to there deaths. Wish Trump would do us all a favor and take up door knob licking.

Also you are not in veg any longer.... (That might also be a reason why the look underfed. Flower takes more nutrients.)

@LuckyLuke, Ohh right. also i forgot that you have one plant that is not an auto right? So that one might grow quite a lot more if you stay on 18-6. While the 3 autos will probably not get tooo much bigger but will be finished faster and then you might re-pot your white widow in a bigger pot so that this one can possibly grow so big that it fills the whole tent. Maybe that way you can make up for some of the "lost" yield due to inexperience. 💪 (The pot sizes you use is fine for having 4 plants in a space like that but will probably be to little for one plant for the whole space.)

Hey, just wanted to give you a view tips to try out: - It looks to me like your light is way to high for your plants. They look like they really try to stretch towards the light. This plant is supposed to only grow to 80-90 cm outside however yours are already that tall yet not very bushy. - You might want to read up on how high your particular grow light should hang above the highest point of your plants i would guess round about 40 cm maybe 50 but you post that it is 85 cm up. Light intensity reduces quadratic meaning that you might only have a 1/3-1/4 th of the strength of light that you where going for. (Hold the underside of your arm round about where the top of your plant would be an check if you can leave it there without feeling any real "warmth". Your arm should stay fairly cool but you might feel a little of the infrared spectrum as light "heat".) - Also your plants grow with different speeds. So to counter that you might want to raise the taller plants closer to the light so that the lower ones are still trying to stretch towards the light more but the taller ones are getting enough light to start growing bushier and less much hight-wise. (Of course they also will still grow height wise but not as much.) - If you absolutely have to have the light that high then maybe switch to a longer light cycle. (One can roughly say that plants average the amount of total light they receive per day. Meaning that if you have like 20% to few watts of light for your grow you can make up for that by having the lights on for 20% longer. (This though gets problematic in flowering and with non-autoflowerings as they need the 12-12 cycle.)) I'm not a pro but those are my 2 cents of what i have learned so far.

@anyoneder, Thanks, yeah since im at home all day I will check on them perioticly over the next days. The Temp is measured at the top of the Pot (see Picture "Day 23 - Full Setup" in the bottom right corner you see the little white box. That's where it's measured. My room temp is at around a constant 24°C and I have the Fan on top of my tent on full-force with the flap on the bottom open for cool air with the small ventilator positioned in front of it (on the inside) to blow the room-temp air inside.

@LuckyLuke, Okay cool. Since you can't quite know how they will react just check every ~2 hours if you can. The signs that they get to hot are widely discussed on youtube. I had my light too low once and immediately saw it by having the highest leaves developing brown dried out leaf tips, so watch out for that. (Of course if one where to overfeed nutrients that would also lead to brown leaf tips.) 33°C is really quite hot. Where is that measured? Whats your room temperature? (Not grow-box temp.) Maybe if you had like 26°C of room temperature you could bring in colder air at the bottom and exhaust the hot air of your grow light from the top. As heat always moves upwards that might help keep your roots cool. (They are the most vulnerable to heat stress. Your leaf tips can transpire water if they need to and cool themselves down but if your root's get to hot they can't function properly and then the whole transpiring collapses and your plant just dries up.)

@anyoneder, Thank you very much for your tips. I too think that the light is a little too high, but it's also very strong and hot. I've had it sitting at a little over 85cm above the *Pot* (so about 55cm above the plant as of before today) and now reduced it to 45cm above the highest part of the Plant. The thing i fear is that it gets to hot for my ladies, as it already has a good 33°C with only abou 30% humitity (but with the quarantine in my country i cant get a "colder" light or anything at the moment), so I'm kinda worried about that. The Plants are slowly starting to all come to roughly the same height (with the exception of Nr4 - white widow). I may experiment with a longer light cycle, but for the time I'll wait and see what a closer light (and with that; higher temperatures) do to my ladies. Let's see. Again thank you for your Tips, and happy growing 💚🌱

Glad you got back on track. Next time try pushing the nutes a bit more and early on. Especially with autos the first 4 weeks are vital to be healthy, fast and fed well.
