I understand this to be a fast to flower strain and not defined as autoflower; just fast to flower photoperiod. Am not finding information on fast-flowering life cycle light schedule so is the light schedule of 24 hours on for seedlings alright and what should I set veg schedule?

Grow them just like you would any other photoperiod strain. 24 hours of light will be fine for veg and when you get ready to flower them just switch the lights to 12/12. The length of veg will depend on how much space you have and how much time you want to give them. The only difference is they are supposed to mature in flower a lot faster than a regular photoperiod. Good luck!

Rheaun Good time to mention I use RO water (ZeroWater2x) and the water is aerated for at least 24 hours before mixing and while mixing/sitting for a few hours. I fimed the Speedy Chile. It is growing nicely in the seedling cabinet again this week but is joined by a Dwarf Low Flyer with no diary. Feeding every watering three days apart. Foliar spray with B-52 daily. My goal is to have the SpeedyChile grow a canopy that somewhat even in height with the dwarf, probably with some LST/HST and scrog net with ties.

The pics in week 2 show the fim cut I did and there's a pic of it four days after in week 3 (before transplanting). I'm not sure how it should look, Is that a succesful FIM?👊

It looks to me like you may have cut a little high and missed the top. When you fim you are trying to cut 2 developing tops at the same time to get 4 main branches growing up. I would give it a few more days to see if she starts to branch out to be sure. In my opinion, you are better off just topping them. Fimming was pretty unpredictable for me when I experimented with it. When I did get a perfect fim it created a massive bush of 4 top branches that blocked light and were hard to train. Good luck with your training!

Look as a succes, you will see the fimed leaf will have a "strange look" but all the new one will grow normaly.

Hi @Rheaun you did it well. The plant has developed 3–5 nodes before you END it. Like with topping, performing the procedure too early will shock the plant and slow down the growth of your seedling and you pinching off around 75% of the tip of a plant, it has grown well and shows no signs of great stress. very well done mate 👍

Rheaun Transplant to 5 gallon felt pot experimenting with some defoliation to keep it short and level. Under 400 watt for 24 hours then switch to 600 watt MH.

Fast flowering strains refers to those that, once you set the light schedule to 12/12, will take a shorter than average time to reach harvest point, which is 8 weeks usually for hybrids or indicas and 10 to 14 weeks for sativas (in this case 6 weeks). Veg is no different than any other strain, it can last as long as you like in whatever light cycle you prefer to use.
