First full week tracking the grow to this extent. Height .75 to 1 inch My temperature stayed around the high 70s to low 80s Soil Ph- stayed between 7 and 8 all week The water stayed at 172-181 ppm. I have a 5-gallon bucket I ph balance the water in and monitor the ppm Humidity stays in the 30% range The substrate temperature stayed right around 70 degrees. End of week 5 Notes leaf count temp is good vegetative- 70-85 degrees ph- want 6 need to go down Questions? What is CO2? Should I be scared of it? Maybe order nutes soon PPM- monitor in flower Dome over plant Jararium? Substrate temp why is it?

First day with the new measuring tools. Have been just Ph balancing the water to 6ish and keeping the lights on 3pm to 11pm just because that worked well with our schedules to monitor it but that doesn't really matter anymore. Using Fox Farms Ocean Forest potting spoil.

Hi @Tillbert_1899 ,cannabis needs 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness to grow at the beginning and humidity 70%-80%, when it matures and the famous "white hairs" appear on the knots of the branches, your plant is mature and ready to flower. to give buds you need switch light to 12 hours of light and 12h hours of dark and 45%-55% of humidity. the best solution to the light hours is to get a timer for your light, to do the light cycle. keeps PH at 6. do not soak the substrate too much in each watering, this will block the growth of your plant. good luck mate 👍

Our soil PH has been staying around 7.5, I've been lowering the water to get it around 6.5-7. Keep it in a 5 gal bucket. Should I continue doing that or adjust techniques? Using fan and exhaust to control air temp, should I be doing more? Any advice more than welcome!

Hi @Tillbert_1899 these ground-based PH readers I think are not very reliable, at least with me, I already used one. analog and then a digital and both were always on 7-7.5 even with all the water set at 6 PH. I did several tests with them on the solutions to set the PH and continued at 7-7.5 .I stopped using. I use a pen to read the water, setting all the watering to PH 6 will leave your substrate at 6. good luck 👍

How tight should a trellis net be? My last grow I had it tied up very tight and this one much less.

What @the_arm said but if you dont have anything else to tie her down and you don't want to bend it with just fingers (HST) then you can use that net but then it should be really tight 'cos otherwise it wont hold the branches that good. Thats why its better to just tie her with wires and later on use that net to just "Show the way" to the budsites.

It's a way for the plan to say it is too hot for the humidity. You don't need to lower your temp you can up your humidity.. Handy dandy little chart I like to share to explain it a lot better then I can. If you look at vegetative growth under 25c you will see you are in the red at your current humidity... Get a humidifier you'll thank yourself in the long run and so will your plant. http://www.just4growers.com/media/23631/vpd_2degree.gif
