Off to a flying start with HSO OG kush. I ordered 10 seeds and received 11, thankfully as 1 didn't germ. In the end 10/11 successful.
As soon as the beans had reasonable tails I transplanted to peat jiffy plugs. These were soaked in a diluted canna A+B solution with some rhizotonic.
The 2 last pictures are from today which is the end of week one. I hope to provide an update every Sunday.
That's all for now,

Well it's been a hell of a week. I have been unable to get rockwool cubes meaning I had to transplant the jiffys directly into the pebbles. This lead to hoards of humidity issues as the plants weren't quite ready.
I today managed to find an old humidifier which appears to be taking care of the issue.
PPM - 580
PH - 6.1

Well this week had its fair share of excitement, first one of my girls wasn't getting any water and was saved last minute.
A few days later my smart arse genius idea of using soaker rope came back to bite me as it all clogged up so I have replaced them back to the good ol drippers.
To top it all off, my nutes failed to show up which left me no other choice but to change brand. I have opted for the Greenleaf Nutrients Mega Crop range.
Earlier in the week I adjusted PH to 6.0 however the girls did not like it at all, I lost a couple of lower fan leaves however seems to be recovering fine. They seem to like 6.2-6.4.
I have adjusted ppm to 1000 this week.
Hello,
I can't understand why some of leaves are loosing colour at the tips. Sunday I mixed the nutrients, it was at 6.3 so I did not adjust. Today risen to 6.4.
Hi @NanoGrows The burns on the leaves seem to me to be PH variations. It regulates the PH of all waterings to PH 6. The discoloration between the leaf veins seems to me to be a calcium deficiency. good luck mate 👍
Swapped bulb to hps and flipped to flower on Sunday, end of week 5.
As I have had some issues I decided to invest in a bluelab PH pen and Truncheon.
Set EC to 1.8
Set PH to 5.8
I still have some issues with the first leaves on the plants. My PH rapidly rises when it's set low but doesnt seem to go above 6.5. I have also moved all the smallest plants to the middle to try even the canopy.
Next week I intend to slower EC to 1.4 and see if that makes a difference.
Not much to update this week.
Since I finally have a reliable testing equipment I have had no issues. I have also opted to not mess with the ph until the plant tells me it needs it.
This week I have gone ahead and lowered EC to 1.4, the plants so far seem very happy. After 24h the EC has risen to 1.5 I think this could just be due to build up in the pots.
Pictures are from Sunday 26th April.
Since last week the tallest plant has grown another 10cm bringing it to 62cm. I have spent the last week slowly defoliating to give the bud sites some extra light. I have also tied some branches to even out the canopy. Next time I will without a doubt top early on next grow.
My EC last week was set at 1.4 and had slowly risen to 1.9 after 7 days. This is much better than before when I followed the manufacture recommended feeding. I have opted to refill the tant to 1.4 again.
EC - 1.4
PH - 6.3
This week has been a disaster. I noticed I had some root rot, I assume because I was over watering. I cut all effected roots from under the pots, gave them a good rinse through then fresh nutes with a little liquid oxygen.
I noticed my girls were looking real hungry by the end of the week so I have opted to use the recommended dosage. This raised my EC to 2.6 and my PH was a stable 6.0.
Now for the bad news, one of my plants somehow is a male. I contacted HSO who claim I must have had a fan too close. They have replaced the seed as a courtesy. Most of the other plants are confirmed females. For reference the plant which was male is bottom left, second one in.
I will report back in a week.
Everything this week looks alot happier, I reduced watering times to 3 times during lights on. Strangely enough my ec is dropping, I find this bizarre because because when I set my ec to 1.3 it would slowly rise to 2.0. Perhaps I had build ups of specific elements.
EC - 2.6
PH - 6.0
This week not much to update, most of the plants bar one have mostly recovered from the root rot I think. Most of the plants are now budding up nicely.
