It varies from strain to strain, how bushy they grow and how short they are, if they're tall and stretching and there's plenty of space between nodes then don't do it. If you have a dence Bush full of leaves you can but don't have to pull some of. But you can abuse autoflowers as long as they are XL versions as they take longer to initiate flowering

I've been wondering the same thing. Seems to be a two sided opinion. Some say do, some say dont, although some seed breeders do recommend to exercise light de- foliations. I've decided to trim some on one and just tuck leaves out the way on others

Hey gardener! So I would have reconfigured the bucket so you don't have to cut the leaves. I would have put one bulb at the bottom and one at the top, that way all the buds get light and no leaves block the light. So instead of cutting the leaves, you leave them, and at the end of flowering, your plant will yellow the leaves and drop them on its own. If you still want to cut the leaves, go ahead but be careful. Good luck, bella ciao!
