So, I started another grow. This time a RQS Stress Killer CBD auto.
In my other grow, I noticed a delay in growth of my Royal Cheese seedling, probably due to watering with regular tap water (pH 8.7).
This grow I will use pH'ed water.
Soil mix:
5L coco
5L soil (plagron Promix unfertilized)
1L perlite
I kept 1L soil mix aside to sprout in, and the remaining 10L is fertilised with Ecostyle (5 tbs) living organics fertilizer.
As for my set-up, like my other diary, please don't mind the temp and humidity values too much, as they are moved in and out of the greenhouse due to cold nights.
Also the temperature of the greenhouse depends on the sun and wind here, so don't mind them too much as well..
Typical temperatures on a good day are anywhere between 20-30 C.
Day 3: The seeds did not show any sign of life after 2 nights in the water, the shell was still intact.
I decided to discard the seed and place a new seed in the water.
I will be starting again from day one now ( April 30th 2020).
@dalilama,
This is basically an early outdoor grow, but I keep the plants under our veranda (basically a greenhouse) or our greenhouse itself.
I give the Cannatonic grow additional lighting with my Optic 2 LED, because that is a photoperiod and the days here are still to short to do it light-less.
As soon as the days are at about 15h of sunlight, which should be around May), then I will stop with the additional lighting and leave them in the greenhouse.
While I am at it, I also place the others under the light, but this is not necessary.
@FoxCrow, Thanks, it's my first grow I really want something stealth. A bit paranoid, I might buy a grow tent after all, I'll put it in my closet as well to avoid having the smell, I'll spend an extra 70€ but its also probably better for the light efficiency and to keep a decent humidity. What light are you using by the way? it doesn't say on your diary.
Thanks!
@dalilama, Just to let you know also in a closet I should not be a problem.
I did the same for my drying closet CAN Lite filter (+/- €35) and fan 125mm 190m3/h (€12,-)
So for me it is not that expensive..
Just made a 125mm round hole in the closet side, pushed the fan in there, and placed the filter on the other side of the fan and suspended it from the ceiling using a ratchet hanger..
