Second Stress Killer for me.
This time I try to report all its stages of growth and flowering. (see the diary of the other Stress).
Universal potting soil with perlite and expanded clay
I took advantage of the sun to take them out and take some shots. Autoflowers are fast and it's time for LST soon. As soon as I fold it, I start with a little fertilizer but it still takes a few weeks
Lst coming soon....Maybe it was a little early but okay. It doesn't stretch much, so I had to arrange it. It's hoped that in the future the branches will stretch longer otherwise I will add nitrogen as well.
Fourth week:
I start with some Easy Grow fertilizer. Half a bar for 3 liters of water. 1.5l x week.
As you can see I topped the sixth internode and I hope the branches stretch right now
This week I irrigated with 4 ml of ox blood diluted in 3 liters of water. Basically nitrogen because I hope that the branches will be able to stretch a little more before finally moving on to the flowering phase.
OK finally the flowering stage.
Here we are. I switch the light from 18/6 to 12/12 with another lamp. 250W HPS for the blooming (orange ray) and 55cm distance from the lamp.
PH: 6.5 (im gonna try a low value of ph, like 6.2)
What do you think about it?
Some advice?
I keep watering with the bloom boost tablets, and I'm thinking of removing some more leaves that shade the smaller buds.
The trichomes are still not seen and I hope they all explode together.
Now I can start to see the real effect of LST. 5 bigger colas that exploded in width. 👻
The first trichomes begin to sprout and the aroma increases day by day!👽
Watering with RQS Bloom tablets at 6.2 Ph!
Bloom bloom blooom!
The harvest is near! MY GOD my old Stresses doest't have all this trichos! It seems they're gonna be cloudy colour.
Feeding water: 6.2 Ph with an infuse of 2 egg shells and two spoons of vinegar. The solution mixed with 150ml of water release potassium, calcium and magnesium, with a bit of nitrogen. Easy to make.
START FLUSHING
Two week after the harvest I'm going to clean all the roots and watering only with fresh water.
This process should clean the budz from fert and with this terapeutical strain the smoke will be really healty!
Watching nearly the trichos, you can see that are all milky, so this is the period when the patience is important.
First week of flushing is gone, now I think next week will be the last week of this plant. I see the calix getting bigger but they won't stop blowing..
Some zoom photos show that trichoes are milky.
I use Biocanna Plus Substrate.
This is the seven week of flowering.
Next time you will see the harvest.
It's my first autoflower training and I hope the results will be better than a normal grow!
So I will make a comparison with the Stress Killer always cultivated by me last year.
Looks okay too me.. If it looked nitro heavy I'd say so trust me. So despite common belief and idea Nitrogen is not a very mobile nutrient once absorbed by the plant... If you think of how it uses nitrogen it would make sense that it wouldn't wanna get rid of it naturally. So most likely you still have some nitrogen coming in and the plant hasn't needed to transport from lower foliage to continue growing. It's really of no concern what so ever. If buds are nitro saturated for example it is nearly impossible to remove Nitro from the buds as the plant won't want to move the nitrogen around as it knows it's a required nutrient for growing and will leach from the leaves first.
