@RussianGrower, I used to try to choose strains that are resistant to mold. But for many, it's just a marketing trick and mold still appears. I spray with Fitosporin and Trichodermin. I keep an eye on the weather; if long rains are coming, I spray a couple of days in advance. But Fitosporin isn't always on hand. I have to use less toxic fungicides that break down quickly. For example, Topaz. But you need to find the Swiss one, not the Chinese junk.
