Started another seed as an early greenhouse grow.
This time it is a White Widow from Seed Stockers.
Soil mix:
5L coco
5L soil (plagron Promix unfertilized)
1L perlite
I kept 1L soil mix aside to sprout in, and the remaining 10L is fertilised with Ecostyle (5 tbs) living organics fertilizer.
As for my set-up, like my other diary, please don't mind the temp and humidity values too much, as they are moved in and out of the greenhouse due to cold nights.
Also the temperature of the greenhouse depends on the sun and wind here, so don't mind them too much as well..
Typical temperatures on a good day are anywhere between 20-30 C.
Going into week 2.
It seems that my previous issues with slow starts of other grows all were due to watering with non pHed water.
She grows fast and perky now!
Every new growth will be pale compared to the leaves bellow , it's not yellowing or else you would have see te yellow colour but what you can see is a pale green
Week 3 of veg has started! Exactly 15 days ago, I dumped the seed into the water to start germination.
If counting day 1 as being the day she pops above the soil, today would be day 9.
Days are almost 14 hours now, so the additional lighting will end when it hits 14:30.
Happy 420!!
Entering week 4 already!
I will now only place pictures each day and take no more measurements..
She has a very faint smell to her.
You really need to stick you nose to the leaves in order to smell it..
Week 6:
I did get some fungus gnats (I dont know if thats the right name for what I am having) So I am letting the soil dry out a bit more..
Day 43: The fungus gnats seem to get less.. I water the plants from the bottom to keep the top soil dry.
Twice a day I get into the tent and use one of those fly zapper tennis racket things to zap as much of those bastards as I can.
Due to circumstances, I got lost track of day counting and taking pictures. Sorry for that.
I ended up harvesting her on day 1 of week 13.
She yielded the most out of any plant I have grown so far (27.38 grams) filling a 1L mason jar.
I don't think she did bad with all the fungus gnat issues I was having and her showing a lot of signs she wasn't too happy..
