Went thru a couple of 3-4 day hot spells in the two weeks before harvest so she had a chance to dry out well before harvest and I could stick her in my shed overnight for an extra long dark period before harvesting her (read as - sleeping in). Meant to spend more time updating diaries today but life intervened. I decided to protest instead. 👊
I'll have to await the next light cycle before continuing some other updates.
I now have 5 plants hanging up at various stages of dry and this strawberry monster will take at least a week to dry. I'll be back.
June 14 >> Kicked my last plants outa the tent today and shut off the lights and everything for the summer. Just one fan left running to help dry the 4 plants I have left hanging. Then I spent maybe 90 minutes trimming this baby. She was quite dense, and I ended up with more buds than trim, 73 grams of bud vs 50 grams of trim. Not a bad haul for an autoflower. A friend of mine grew one of these already from the same batch of seeds I won so I have some that's already cured - quite tasty.
I actually couldn't break the stalks of this girl when I went to trim her - so it's possible I coulda let her dry a bit more before trimming, I'll know in a few hours when I'm done measuring how dry she is before adding in some Boveda packs to hydrate the buds. Looks good though.
June 15 >> Initial "dry" comes in at about 54%. Not as dry as I thought. Curing will bring it up to the low 60's.
