Took about 11 weeks from seed to harvest. Grew short and bushy. Smells strong. Just over 11oz wet, hoping for 2oz’ish dried. I’ll update once dry.
**Update: After hang drying in the tent for 2 days the outsides of the buds started feeling a little crispy. I cuts the buds off the stems and placed the buds in mason jars with Boveda 62 packs, then placed the jars in a paper bag with the jar lids off. Haven’t weighted it again yet but it looks like a larger yield than my TangieMatic, which was over 2oz. Possibly 3oz’ish
This was a lot of fun. Looking forward to growing more like this one.
**Update**
Total dry weight was 2.6 oz (74g). The buds were a little airier than the Tangie'Matic, not as tight/dense. Placed dried buds in mason jars with Boveda 62rh packs. Will be opening the jars daily for the next couple of weeks to cure. So far it tastes nice, I can taste some mint, but mostly just nice tasting overall. Will update the taste again after further curing.
This looks like it was a nice grow. Nice job! I am attempting my first "topless" SCROG (trying to bend instead) with 6 different strains right now, of which one is FastBuds Girl Scout Cookies. It would be cool if you would follow the grow as I would be open to any pointers/suggestions. Best wishes - Zannabis7
@Zannabis7, it was a very nice grow. I was (and still am) very impressed with GSC. She’s grew fast, yielded well and smokes fantastic! I’ll definitely be growing more GSC. Will follow yours also.
@MurderMidz, LOL. sorry about that. I have 2 Viparspectra V300 fixtures. One of the original models, with more blues, and one of the newer models, with more reds.
@MurderMidz,sorry don’t know what vipars are. I used good organic compost, soil and perlite. I used some additional grow nutrients (Espoma) but started noticing nutrient burn. I then stopped all additional nutrients but did add some organic molasses during one watering about 3 weeks ago.
