Germinated in paper towel 3 seeds.
The light and Mylar showed up 2 days late so I made a quick set up, will start to look more professional as you look through the weeks.
First time growing autos I wasn’t prepared for how fast they would out grow their first pots. Stunted the growth by accident because of this, although I did want to stunt the growth so could be blessing in disguise.
Started adding small amounts of nutrients. Have been growing in top crop complete mix soil so decided to use their nutrients as well.
Have slowly started lst, again first time growing autos so this is a complete learning curve for me.
This week has started to get exciting!! Seeing big changes now.
Annoyingly the heavens have opened up meaning the humidity has jumped rapidly. Luckily I have a dehumidifier for the house which I am putting in the room to take out the humidity.
Really enjoying the lst process not sure if it’s working but will see results soon.
Plants are really starting to look good now. I think the lst has worked, but never grown this strain or used lst before so don’t know the benefits it’s having (please comment to let me know thank you).
1 plant is showing signs of calcium deficiency as it has stunted growth compared to the rest and has a couple brown spots, so I have flushed the plant using 5x as much water as normal and will see if the signs carry on.
Well being in lock down (cornavirus) for 3 weeks now my plants have actually become my life! Wish I had more growing but was first time with auto so didn’t want to get ahead of myself. The rain has calmed down (whilst writing we have a rain day again)
So humidity and temp are back to normal without any help from myself and my dehumidifier.
Although all plants were planted the same time, they are all at slightly different stages.
the sun leaves have starting yellowing and dying off at a rapid rate now.
Plants seem to be a couple days apart in developing.
Smell has become pretty obvious now. Has gone from smelling just in the space to smelling outside the room as well.
Haven’t been giving the plants any nutrients for the last week.
One of my plants had serious phosphorus deficiency as I stopped the nutrients too soon and has now been cut producing just 14 grams, luckily my last two plants are a 1-2 weeks behind so I was able to keep giving them nutrients for longer, it’s been a good learning curve into autoflowers for me.
I’m now growing 3 magnums, 1 blueberry skunk and 1 Hindu Kush Kush (both single seeds are research sensi seeds) in the cupboard as well. Corona virus desperate times call for desperate measures.
I still have another light that is just sitting there without more plants to cultivate.
Was a first time grow so sure I am missing lots of knowledge and know how.
Tried lst training but seeing how they reacted compared to the grow I have going now, I can see I did it wrong.
Smells great and it’s sparkling like diamonds!
I had a couple of problems but they came from user error not problems with the plants.
Was really exciting to start growing! I haven’t grown for over ten years (was my dads grow but I helped) so learning all the new led lights, nutrients and training techniques (my dad was very old school) has been so much fun and looking forward to really getting the most out of them.
I will grow this strain again with more knowledge for sure.
Was a great strain to learn with as clearly my knowledge was low but the plants still managed to produce bud. Seems a very hard strain to mess up.
Congratulations on the new baby. She looks good at first. Choose a good variety. For a treat. Keep doing what you are doing and ask the growing ganja gods to protect your women until the growth is over.
