I checked the pics and heres some feedback: The topping looks ok to my eye but I prefer to let growth tips grow a little bigger before topping and I always leave more of the stem (I cut little bit higher on the stem) just to be safe and you dont have to be so accurate with those scissors getting between those growth tips.
That black dot, probably nothing to worry about, could be anything and leaves take damage pretty easily and there is some weird damage all the time but keep an eye on that.
The white spots. Might be bugs dunno, but have you spilled any nutrient water to the leaves or something? Could be damage from that also.
Did you know that seeds from hermaphrodite plant are more likely to be herms themselves? You should keep really close eye to those both when flowering. They can start to produce balls anytime during flowering..
