These are the earliest photos I have. Planted two seeds directly into soil. Planted second seed a few days after the first seed just to have insurance if the first didn't sprout.
Both seeds looked pretty good, the one with the headstart obviously doing better. Decided I didn't want to even attempt to grow 2 plants (it's a fairly small space) so I sadly pulled it up. No nutrients or anything at this point. Temp did fall a bit at one point but after repositioning the probe I got it back into desired range.
Couple brown spots appeared, don't think they spread anywhere and cleared up on their own. Started trying to figure out what shape would be best for my space here,
Started doing some LST here, drilled holes in the pot to have a place to secure my plant ties. Bending the main stem over to try to encourage some flat canopy... but I don't really know what I'm doing. Everything seems to be okay, still just feeding h2o (and had not checked the pH at this point either).
Welp, no photos during this week at all. I wasn't taking as good of notes at this point apparently! I don't think much happened between weeks here anyways. More growth, more LST.
Quite a bit more LST here, tried to pull the side branches away to expose as much canopy as possible and keep it flat. Not really any problems at this point other than one of my fans dying, but I was able to replace it fairly quickly.
Lots of training in this week. The plant would be completely upright in only a few hours so I kept having to adjust to keep the shape I wanted. Had to reorient the heater and fans as a couple leaf edges started looking a little bit cooked. Humidity dipped this week but came back up. Wondering if I should consider a humidifier since it's so far been on the low side.
The lower parts of the plant that have been exposed by training seem to be doing well. Doing my best to make sure they don't get lost underneath any of the larger leaves. This is where I'm at now, as of 12/19/17. My plan is to switch to 12/12 light schedule about week 10 (which I think is New Year's Eve) and see how it goes from there. I think that puts me around harvest in Week 18?
removed a bunch of my plant ties since they were digging into the stems and it was really too much anyways. started flowering 12/28 and switched a 12W LED for a 36W.
just letting it go now! Looks pretty good to me (but I don't know). I do have some nutrients now (FloraMicro/Gro/Bloom) so I might start using a little bit of Bloom now.
I think it's going well. Used just a little bit of nutrients for the first time, will see if there is a noticeable improvement. Really happy with the shape it's taking and looks like there should be plenty of flowers in a few weeks!
normally you will be finished in week 18 but that depends you just need to look at your trichomes they will tell you when it's ready. happy holliday's 👍
