Late week 7 - I almost forgot to post this week but ill try to keep it upto date.
This lady is still stretching a bit but seems to be putting most of her energy into the buds now. She's getting a bit of frost on her and honestly could probably use a bit stronger of a drink but I feed them all the same so she gets what she gets! Seriously though she could probably do for a bit more as her tips are just lightly burnt which is still a great place to be IMO.
She's also really starting to develop her scent and by-golly does she smell like some unripened strawberry's! I can not wait to see how that turns out later in flower and then after a solid cure.
Looking good there. I got the same strain as a freebie a while back. Looking at your girl makes me think that I might want to pop 1 or 2 myself. Good luck with the grow .👍
@HonorRioFarms, I don't like to let the coco get to dry as it can change the pH of the medium and throw things out of wack. Generally I only water this way when they're young as I don't water the entire pot and don't rely on the weight. When they're larger and I water the entire pot I do it strictly on weight and they usually get a little drier throughout at that point. Thanks for looking out though!
@NotShowingGrowing, thanks for replying. I think maybe giving it an extra day or two may help. Because it's a larger pot, we may want to water the plant with more volume than the plant actually needs. However, every grow is different and every grower will grow their way. Thanks again for replying.
@HonorRioFarms, no, it's more like every other or every 3rd day. I have a humidified running to keep the rH at 55-60% which I think helps keep the coco in those fabric pots moist longer. When the top visual layer is mostly dry Ill usually water the following morning.
