wreckbeast ------------DAY 1------------ 4/6/20 3 Seedsman freebie Jack Herer seeds soaked in RO water for 8 hours (10am-6pm). Transferred to wet paper towels with a sprinkle of Myko. ------------DAY 2------------ Seeds #1 and #2 popped today, and were planted into solo cups filled with Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil. Watered in with RO. Seed #1 got Myko during planting, I forgot with seed #2. ------------DAY 3------------ Jack Herrer seed #3 still hasn't popped. I started soaking two more seedsman freebies just in case, the goal is two viable plants. Added Royal Queen Seeds Critical fem, and Seedsman Blueberry Fem. Started soaking at 9:30 am. Transferred to wet paper towel at 6:00pm. ------------DAY 4------------ Jack #1 has breached the soil wearing it's seed cap. Blueberry popped, transplanted. ------------DAY 5------------ Jack #2 breached. Critical popped, transplanted. I was concerned Jack #1 was stretching so I lowered light to 24" at 50%. (This seems to be correct, seedlings thriving -4/14) ------------DAY 6------------ Both Jack's looking good, blueberry is starting to emerge. Jack #! seems considerably more vigorous than #2.

wreckbeast -------DAY 8-------- 4/13/20 Seedlings look strong. Misting soil morning and night with RO. Small fan agitating seedlings to encourage stem growth. -------DAY 11-------- Continuing to keep soil moist, and maintaining a warm, wet environment. -------DAY 14-------- Looks like we're getting close to transplant. Jack#1's third set of real leaves is emerging.

wreckbeast DAY 19 - 4/24/20 Day 24 from seed. TRANSPLANT DAY! Plants moving into 7 gallon fabric pots with 60% Fox Farms Ocean Forest, 30% Coco, 10% perlite. I used Roots Organics coco, which they say doesn't require washing, so I simply soaked it in 10 gallons of water with 50ml General Organics Calmag+. I mixed the whole mess up in my bathtub, what a mess. I also sprinkled Myko on the root balls. I'm gonna try to let these go about 2-3 weeks with very little additional nutes, as the FFOF is pretty loaded with stuff. I'll definitely introduce some kelp extract. I'm gonna have to top pretty soon. DAY 21 Wow, transplanting didn't slow these down AT ALL. They are blowing up now. Light watering (about 40 oz each) RO amended with Growmore Seaweed Extract, and Roots Organics Elemental. The seaweed brought the pH down, so I added a bit of elemental(roots organic's powdered mineral supplement) to bring it back up.

wreckbeast DAY 23 - 4/28/20 Topped all four above the fifth node. DAY 24 Watered 2 cups RO each at end of day. Light was at 24" and I noticed a little stress, so I raised it up to 32". DAY 25 Plants look better... It seems like 24" was too close. DAY 26 - Decided to brew up a compost tea for the end of week 4. I figured that the nutrients in the fox farms might be half gone, and that I should get some microbes working in there. 6 cups each plant: 1.5 gallon RO water heaping 1/2 cup Vital Earth compost 3 Tbs molasses 1.5 teaspoon Root Organic elemental to buffer pH was 5.9 to start, so I added 30ml of Mad Farmer Get Up, which is soluble potash DAY 27 - Pruned top node on all plants, probably should have done it sooner. DAY 28 - Watered the tea. It bubbled for about 36 hours, enough time for most of the molasses smell to dissipate.

wreckbeast DAY 35 Plants are crowded in the 4x4, my Gorilla Lite Line 4x4 should be here in 48 hours. Critical has overtaken Jack #1, and Jack #2 has fallen behind... I hadn't noticed before, but the stem is coming out very crooked, not sure if that is affecting it. It makes me want to plant seeds directly next time so that they will orient themselves automatically, I would hope. Plants overall seem very healthy, and slightly discoloured leaf tips make me believe the fox farms ocean forest still has plenty of food left in it. Started a compost tea to boost the microbes, plan on letting this run 48 hrs, started at 11:00am Day 35 3 gallons RO water 4 Tbs molasses 1 Tbs Roots Organics Elemental 3 Tbs Roots Organics Terp Tea Grow

Hey brother! Sorry to hear about your clones. Glad to see you starting fresh form seed. Ive finally got my 2x4 GGT set up and a few seeds germinating. Only one popped for me so far... decided to go the rapid rooter and mondi dome route and not the paper towel method. What light are you using for the seedlings? Im worried the light I have now is a ltitle too bright and may be harming my only sprouted girl as the leaves are starting to curl. A little more than a month out form getting my BC gamechanger as well :)

@kaneownz, Hey dude!! Yeah, I should have passed on those clones, no biggie. I didn't have my seeds at the time, and was too anxious to get my grow started. These babies look good so far though. I was hoping to pick up a second light for veg with a better color spectrum, but I am just using the GC for now. I have it at 50% about 24" up. Nice call on scoring the Gamechanger! For veg I was hoping to get either some cfls or a full-spectrum led. I guess you want lots of blue light in veg to encourage growth, and the GC is better for flowering with a redder spectrum. Seems to be working so far, if they start to stretch and get leggy, I'll know that the GC isn't ideal for veg. Looking for low squat plants with tight internodal spacing.
