Indoor/Outdoor Critical Purple

PoleKat -Day #7- Well, looks like I’ve successfully made it through the first week above ground! Really excited about that as this is my first grow. Everything seems to be going better than I hoped for so far. See where we are at the end of next week and maybe start introducing some nutrients very slowly. Going to try the floranova veg this time, I’ve heard really good things about it so hopefully it works out. PH of water has been around 6.5-6.6 so I’m going to be maintaining that with the results I have been getting so far. I’m not going to push it though, want to make sure they are ready for nutes so I will be contacting my local grow store to see what they think at the end of next week. Experimental plant #5 is doing well though not as big or nice looking as the other 4 in my enclosure. So obviously warm, bright and humid plays a huge role in the success of these early weeks. I’m having a lot of fun with this grow!! New pics are up for those who would like to take a peek and as always any help or guidance is always appreciated. PoleKat -Day #11- After moving everyone to their new home last night everything seems to be ok. Having a bit of a harder time keeping up the humidity. Need to figure out a solution there I think. Seems to be around 55% with wet towel hung inside the box. Hopefully that’s ok.. I have noticed that my tallest plant (not sure why this one is so tall) appears to have a slight twist in the stem half way up. Looks the slightest bit flat (more like oval). No signs of damping off or anything like that. Hopefully she pulls through. Still very straight and growing up top rapidly each day. Stems are all very nice and green in colour so nothing looks sick to me, also no signs of mildew/mold. Anyways if you guys could take a peek and give me any tips on that would be great! I have moved the light closer to them and also added paper clip support to the tall one just as a precaution. Don’t want to risk it falling over. Thanks guys, have a great day!

PoleKat -Day #21- Well, another week has come and gone. These plants really seem to be taking off, especially after the last 5-6 days. What seemed to take forever for the first couple weeks, happens almost daily at this point in the game. It’s unreal to watch and see this amount of growth everyday! This is my very first grow, so far I think things are going insanely well. Going to skip the nutrients next watering and just give ph water ~6.5~ roughly every 4-5 days seems to be working great for me. Extremely happy with the progress these little girls have shown this week. I will keep everyone posted through week 4 and I am super excited to see what week 4 brings! Have a great weekend peeps! PoleKat Day #28 This is my final post for week #4! These plants have just exploded over the past 2 days. This week has been amazing to say the least. Really can’t believe how well things seem to be going. Noticing a lot of new growth from inside the canopy as well. Lots of new leaves, looking very happy! Looking forward to the transition to flower. Going to transplant these beauties in the next couple of days to their final pots. Really looking forward to the rest of this grow! PoleKat -Day #35- Last day of week 5! This week has definitely been about explosive growth especially after feeding and upping my nutes 2 days ago. I can’t believe how big they have gotten. Looks like they have all entered pre-flower in the past day or so. Week #6 I will call the beginning of the flower cycle. Definitely will be keeping up with the veg nutes for the next couple of weeks until vertical growth slows and then I will concentrate on switching to flower nutes once they slow down a bit. As for the slow down, no end in site right now. Need to know if now would be ok to start trying some LST with them or is it too late at this point? Any input would be appreciated. PoleKat -Day #42- Hi guys, sorry I haven’t updated much this week. It’s sure been a busy one. Last pics from week 6! Flowers really starting to show especially on my big plant! This week has been amazing, did some more LST this morning and I have to say the response has been insane! Water and Feed tomorrow morning I think. Plants are really filling out and still growing... and growing... and growing. Beautiful colour, no deficiencies to report, and thinks are really on track. Couldn’t be happier! PoleKat -Day #47- Well, today is the day! Moved the girls outside this morning, weather is supposed to warm up and be nice and sunny for the next week! I will probably move them inside for the next week or so at night just because the overnight temps seem to come down to about 10-14C. That will hopefully change in the next week or 2 though so I can just leave them out there. They will sit in indirect sunlight for the next couple of hours to get them used to the different light. I have checked out this space and it seems like they will get about 8 hours of direct sunlight everyday. I’m sure this is going to be a whole lot different then my 2-36” T5 bulbs they have been growing under from seed. Hopefully this pays off! Soil still seems damp today so hopefully they evaporate a bit today. Tomorrow morning will be PH 7.0 flush as I haven’t done this yet and I want to prevent nutrient lock. Runoff was around 5.9 which is only 0.6 difference of what input mixture is but just want to make sure my soil doesn’t get too acidic. The next time I will be upping my bloom nutrients to equal the same as my veg nutrients. These plants have responded very well to nutrients through the entire grow with zero deficiencies or nutrient burn to date. Very excited to see what happens here! PoleKat -Day #53- Girls are really starting to fill in canopies this week. Kinda looking more like a weed bush as opposed to a plant lol. They are still definitely stretching this week and continuing to grow within the canopy. Bud sites are really finding their way to the top after fixing LST ties to allow for more light within. Still pretty damp soil today after I flushed them a couple days ago. They seem happy with that. I am however looking forward to pumping those nutes back into them to see how they react after they have been flushed!

PoleKat Day 72 Well, end of another week. I think things went very well! Cal mag seems to have helped the girls, they were pretty happy the day after I added that to the mix. Carbo blast is really working for trichome production. Sugar leaves pretty sparkly at the end of this week. Buds are growing very rapidly! Very excited to see what next week brings. I’m sure it’s going to be unreal! Posted some more pics of the buds from today. Have a great weekend people!
