Started out strong and healthy. I've kept my lights on 24hrs for fear of low night temps but plan to change to 18/6 soon. I started with a 250w CFL but switched to my 400w MH to help raise the temp in the tent which it has. I've been battling low humidity (30%-40%) as well, I can get it up to 60% by spraying the walls and floor of the tent but that only last for an hour at max.
My white clover cover crop just began sprouting after sowing the seeds on about day 5, I waited to plant them so my AvT wouldn't have to compete with the clover as soon as it broke dirt
I've been super worried about their size, I feel like they are growing really slow for autos and should be bigger, so I started taking daily pictures of one of the 2 AvT to monitor growth. Maybe I'm just being over critical and worried since this is my first auto grow and I know the first few weeks of growth are critical for an auto
I switched to 18/6 schedule, I wish my temps were a little higher at night (63-65) but there's not much I can do about that. My daytime temps have been 77-80 which I like, i just hope the temp drop at night and humidity rise doesn't effect them too much.
Any advice or comments are welcome. Happy growing!
I noticed preflower pistils on day 18. I'm not a fan of them flowering when so small :-/ Thy started a growth spurt so i started LSTing them resulting in good side branch growth
Finally starting to grow decently each day but still really small for their age. Side branches have stretched up but I haven't had nearly the amount of growth/stretch I was hoping for in the first week of flower
I switched to a 360w HPS on the 24th and raised the light to 28inches above soil to encourage stretching
Well they're not as big as I had hoped and didn't stretch much but they're growing healthy. I fed some kelp tea on 2/1 and they seem to have responded well. I also added a heater to the tent on 2/1 and set at 75 to help bring up the night/lights off temp.
@DabCrab, That'd be cool. I posted some other pics in week 2. Give em a gander and let me know what you think, I feel like they're growing way slower than they should be which I don't understand cause they seem to be super healthy
