7 days of 12/12 light cycle have gone by... Did more LST to try and keep the canopy relatively flat. Starting to see more signs of flowering now in my two main plants many more calyxes with pistils are popping up on the other tops, the third plant has a single preflower that I've been able to find, but it's kind of an uncertain preflower. I'm still waiting to see if it pops pistils. The smell is starting to be a bit more noticeable, it doesn't yet smell like buds, more of a sweet floral scent like a plant nursery or a flower garden. It's actually a little intoxicating, really nice. I'm a little worried at this stage that the amount of light I'm providing won't be sufficient for generating an impressive harvest. I'm really surprised the plants have grown the size they have under these conditions. It's something I would like to address before my next grow. The super mutant has yet to show any preflower signs but continues to grow at a steady pace. Looking just as freakish as ever. I actually noticed some features I had overlooked before, notably, some of its side branches are actually fused to the internodal stems. Very interesting... These side stems are outgrowing the internodal stem however and as a result, there are these compressed or bent looking shapes in the fused side stems that give it the appearance of veins or worms or something. More evidence this plant is of the devil.

Despite a 24h light cycle, calyxes and pistils have started to grow! Does that prove these are autoflower, or could it be stress or some other factor?

The term is called Preflowering and at the 6th week of VEG. Seeing preflower is completely normal and not a sign that it is an Autoflowers at all.. Judging by the size , shape your plants are photo plants and you shouldn't be concerned at all.

Hey! I'm in the same boat! Gotta look at my current GD. I have my "Karen the Short bus" plant that's almost identical. I figured fuck it! Gonna let this crazy FUCKER grow. Get some mutant weed baby! Lol seriously check it out. Happy to find another because people think it's something I'M doing. Cock suckers been like this from germination. Curious as HELL.

@GutterHoe, Hell yeah! I'm going to be following your progress with it. My mutant actually just popped some pistils the other day. Will be in the next update.

The two plants look great.. My god what is wrong with that other one.. We'd just chuck it honestly it looks diseased or infected lol. It's not gonna produce for you at all. It's got very little canopy and it's still a thin spindly mess. That is one crazy looking Cannabis plant.

@Obsidianskies, Lol that one is definitely gonna be interesting to see. Like it doesn't even look like a Cannabis plant lol. Those leaves look they are in business for themselves and it doesn't have the structure. It's a little mind boggling... Lol seeing what happens is gonna be like watching a foot race with dudes who only have 1 leg. lol it's gonna be one hell of a show but definitely wont be breaking any records. Except maybe tallest sickliest looking plant that still somehow managed to produce "buds". At least there might be buds maybe I don't know.. Gonna follow along just to see what happens. Not in it for your healthy plants only watching the sickly one ha ha ha ha.

@DeadwebsiteBoringcommunity, I agree with you totally, in future grows I'd just chuck it. I let it grow because I'm really curious to see how it continues to develop, I'm surprised it's even survived this long tbh. Keeping it now just to see if it produces bud at all and what it might look like, spiral pistils? crazy Cthulhu buds? I'm in it for the mystery haha.

Fascinating really. That mutant is just doing some really weird things. It's trying to flower it looks like lol. But your other ladies are looking fantastic nice bud development and looking great. A word of caution with smells.... Ever walked into a house and noticed they owned cats because you smelled the litter box? Well people do get acclimatized and familiar with smells. A good way to tell if your op actually smells is to have a friend over who doesn't smoke a lot of Cannabis. If he can smell it so can the fuzz.

@DeadwebsiteBoringcommunity, That's some sage counsel about the smell... I'm fortunate enough to live somewhere where this whole op is legal so I don't have to worry about it from that angle, but I'd still rather not annoy the neighbors. I can't say there's *no* smell... I can smell it, especially in the morning when I first come into the room, but it doesn't smell like pot, it smells like flowers, like a generic bouquet of flowers, like the cheap kind you get at the grocery store. I'll definitely keep the mutant around until it has a chance to mature, it's been interesting to watch it develop so far.
