I transplant into plastic cups to let the rootball form a solid root system. Then I transplanted them into there own 5gal pots with a organic soil medium. I water with a nute solution every 5-6 days. I water them with plain water Every 3 days if no rain has fallen. They are outside full time no matter what. Unless a big storm is coming thru. They are strong with leaves reaching for the sky. At 6 inches tall I will force flower to weed out the males then back outside full time for the growing season.
I would not recommend putting several plants in one bucket. Always the stronger and more productive plant will dominate the weaker, this is natural selection
