Sowed 10 seeds, 9 of them sprouted in the first week, 1 accidentally fall down in one of the pots so when it sprouted I had to move in another pot it since there was 2 plants in a single pot Got low temperature and humidity problems, partially resolved a putting a cellophane sheet on the bucket and make little holes on it to let plants breathe

In the third week I've passed to bigger pots and started to give nutrients, I've also changed the lamp with a 315W CMH keeping it at the initial distance of 2 1/2 feet

Since the goal of this grow was to select a couple of mothers for future SOGs I've tried to take a clone from each plant, unluckily, mainly for inexperience I failed and most of the clones died from this first trial so, I've to attend another 2 weeks in order to let the mothers revegetate and make another try

Now I'm around day 70 of 12/12, today I should give fertilizers but I've doubts if it's better to continue for another week or 2 or start giving plain water and let the plants discharge themselves This time I've also included a pic of the moms box, in order to maintain them I'm using a small 50W led panel that keeps internodes short and I trim the tips regularly ... I know they could have a better aspect and need some care but at the moment I'm focusing to finish flowering, after that I'll trim also the roots and change the soil with new one

I'm in day 70 of flowering, since I've not experience with long flowering Sativas I don't know if I can continue to give ferts or is the moment to stop them and start to give plain water, first orange hair started to appear a week ago, I've not yet started to check thricomes

Hi @gspoon Dr. Grinspoon's flowering lasts between 100 to 120 days. you just have to stop feeding it in the last 14 days. so, from 90 days on, keep an eye out for trichomes and pistils. good luck mate

Watched the thricomes, they are about 50/50 clear/cloudy , I'm expecting at least 2 weeks before cut, maybe 3... have made a quick test with a small bud accidentally broken during the removal of some dead leaves, after a quick dry rolled it in a joint that was enough to put a big smile, smell and flavor obviously should be developed through curing but the high is already in line on what I was expecting from this strain, f*cking cerebral stuff 👌👍

Nearly 100 days from the switch, in the last week I've reduced the hours of light to 10/14, thricomes are almost all milky including the ones on the lower buds, I think I'll let them go for another week before harvest

After 14 weeks/105 days I chopped all the plants, except one which some days before I found with the broken stem (caused by bad tying) and put earlier to dry Thricomes went from seeing the firsts turn amber in the more mature plants to 85/90% milky and 10/15% transparent in the less mature ones but for the first time that I was measuring myself with a long flowering Sativa like that I'm pretty happy with the result :)

For the growing side I was quite impressed by this strain, being the first experience with sativas like that I was expecting weaker plants which in the end were not, they responded well to cold, dry conditions and sometimes also underwatering, I put hard as "ease of growing" only because the flowering times takes just twice the times of a normal indica/hybrid but once understood this lady it's just as easy to grow as every other strain It's a plant that definitively works well in SOGs developing a single long main cola, they do need support in the last months because they stretch a lot, I've put clones on 12/12 when they were 10/15 centimeters high and ended up with plants that were 70/80 centimeters From 10 seeds sprouted I've recognized 2 main phenotypes, one squat and the other lankier, both long flowering but in general I would say that this is a quite homogeneous strain, luckily I've found a plant that in my opinion stands above the others and very likely this will become the keeper for future SOGs
