@biggreens420, Cheers for that! It's my first scrog grow so I have no idea what I'm doing π π so advice like that is much appreciated, thanks π
Hey mate , dawgs looking great ... I'm new to autos however , I snapped a branch clean off before with a photo (in flower) and I didn't want to loose it's yield so , I dipped it in clonex and duct taped it back on with support and within 2 weeks it was fully congealed, the plant oozed out some firm of gum to seal it up and it continued to grow , best to try and keep the air out I once read but I could be wrong , you could maybe get away with a large cable tie to pull it back close to the stem ?
@Dunk_Junk, yes I totally agree with you , I topped my auto as curiosity got the better of me and it's responded pretty well , far far more robust and forgiving than a photo
@ScotlandDrGreen420, I'm also quite new to autos. I'm liking how resilient they seem. Well done on fixing your photo girl! Mine is hanging on. It is split half way. Top half open, bottom half together. The branch that is affected is supported by the net, I think I will leave it alone before I snap it off completely π. I have heard air in cut/broken stems is bad news but I actually don't know when this injury occurred! I'm thinking air got in there days ago whenever she first split so touch wood I got lucky this time.
@Dunk_Junk,thanks buddy I think I could have got more she was supposed to be scrogged but had to move her there should have also been 2 lights in on her and another plant but didn't put the second in with moving her so she just had the 600 between them I like scrogg myself just added one to my ww and zombie kush grows
@biggreens420, Thanks dude!! I'm actually liking this scrog business... If it grows up, poke it under!! Simplez!! :D Your Stardawg was a monster!!! 250g? Amazing.
@biggreens420, Do you know.. I loved the scrog. It was so easy to do. I think it helped the plant A LOT! I also should have pruned much more leaves off because in one area it was very thick with leaves and it was choking itself π my bad. I would most deffinately use it in the future. I built mine that spanned the extents of the tent. On hindsight this was a mistake. I could not access the far 2 sides of the tent and this made looking after the plants far more difficult. For sure next time I will bear this in mind, maybe make a smaller scrog net to allow access. Or put that 1.5m scrog net into an entire room π One or the other π
@biggreens420, Thanks Buddy!! I'm still finding my feet with this SCROG grow. I'm excited to see how big the buds get in comparison to non-scrog plants. The biggest trouble I have is the far corner of the tent is not accessible to me now so I find it very hard to prune the big leaves from that side.
I either need a smaller scrog frame or a bigger space so I can walk all the way around...
@biggreens420, Thank you!! I will in fact be constructing my first SCROG net in the next week or so. I'm currently assembling all the materials ready for the build. I've never done SCROG before, it looks an interesting way of growing to ensure the entire canopy receives equal and even light.
