NL and 11 Roses have both been topped. I havent topped Gorilla Glue, as I dont want to stress her out but i have done a bit of LST. 8 Ball Kush is being left as it is at the moment as its considerably smaller
lots of growth in the last few days - they have had their first feed at 1ml/2L of water and have responded well. The gorilla glue is showing preflowers!
growth has been going really well - fed some seaweed concentrate and burnt the tips of most plants but they seem OK with the abuse. Today marks the 29th day above ground and I will be swapping to 400W HPS light and 12/12 from tomorrow!
Preflowers showing today after 5 days of 12/12. I shall count today as day 1 for flowering! i have added a few boxes underneath the small 8 ball to make sure that the canopy is level-ish 😀
Had to gentley LST the GG as it was getting too close to the light. My new 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent will hopefully arrive this week. Everything is seemingly going well - let them to get a little too dry over the weekend but after a water they have sprung back. any comments or suggestions let me know! 11/05 they are 41 days old. How're they looking?
Gorilla glue is starting to fatten up nicely and the purpling from the 11 roses is insane! Can’t wait to see how that progresses on later.
I think that the gorilla glue might have a it of N deficiency as some yellowing occurring under the canopy? Could it be due to lack of light as I have taken many leaves off at all?
Gorilla glue is around 10 days from chop with mostly cloudy triches, that will make 70days from seed which is bang on what the breeder says. Great work Auto Seeds.
The Eleven Roses is showing a gorgeous colour And stinks of dirt and fruit. I think they are all suffering a bit of cal/mag deficiency so I shall grab some tonight and give them a feed
11 roses started sprouting nananas so she had to be pulled very early. Such a shame as it had such potential but such is life. Everything going well and fattening up nicely. gorilla glue has 5-10 days left according to the breeder and the others have around 15-19 days left too. Any comments let me know!
Finally harvested the GG after 71 days. It was a really easy grow with next to no problems throughout. I will definitely take a look at the other Auto Seeds strains!
kush reallly starting to fatten up. The main cola is double the size of the gorilla glue cola. Triches seem mostly cloudy and amber now so she will be chopped any day soon. NL is starting to purple a little. I am not sure if that is from the mega PK dose i have been giving it. Either way shes so unbelievably frosty. Typically, the smallest plant looks like the highest grade. any comments welcome :)
Looks good! Just wondering what nutes you're feeding.
Also, do what ya want of course: but that black box with the vents and the electronics inside. I'd get it up off the carpet and onto something that can't catch fire (even just a few inches), just as a precaution.
@downunderdank, look into MaxiBloom. It says for hydro but I've used it in soil too and it's fantastic. You can do an entire grow from start to finish with nothing but MaxiBloom. A $30 2.2kg bag of it should grow you at least a dozen plants, probably two or three times that much in soil since you're likely only watering a few times a week. Spend another $30 to get a bottle of CaliMagic (and use 1/4 the recommended dose every feeding) for peace of mind that your plants get enough Calcium and Magnesium -- even though MaxiBloom has a bunch in it already, it's extremely difficult to overdose plants on Calcium or Magnesium, so no harm in adding some more and not having to adjust to deficiency later on if it would occur. NOTE: The one "crappy" thing about MaxiBloom is it clumps up if you just dump the measured amount into water, and the clumps won't break apart even with vigorous shaking. You gotta take a few seconds to gently shake it out of the spoon.
Also consider looking into LST (low stress training). I'm a huge fan of this and use it on every grow to some degree. Every time you tie down a branch, all the lower nodes on it grow vertically into their own branches with their own nodes :O Google some of the skeletal structures left behind after LST, some people make their plants spiral up like a staircase and all kinds of crazy bonzai-like shit that also serves a purpose. You can use all kinds of different materials for the tie-down, whatever you find is easiest/best to work with, I've developed my own method of carefully tying branches down to holes that I've drilled in the top of my buckets in a way where they will stretch and release the knots as the stems grow thicker. It's a little bit of extra work but I find it extremely relaxing, like making art that also gets you waaaay more buds! A lot of people use LST as a secondary method to assist with some larger purpose like ScrOG so many of the references on the internet will be a side-piece in a larger article about some other method, but just applying LST by itself will exponentially increase your yield without harming or stunting your plant growth if you do it carefully!
