Have been watering with plain RO water. The yellowing seems to have stopped but it also seems like its too late to reverse all the damage/for the plant to make new leaves. I think I will just keep watering them and let them finish up. This is not my ideal outcome but I think the buds still seem to be swelling so I believe the buds will be quality.
