Gave plant 50ml (0.132 gal) of water Saturday and big fan leaves wilted a bit by Sunday. Last watering was 4 days ago and I gave them 25 ml (.066 gal) of water. So it been very light watering. Why would they wilt? Over water? I figured it could take alot more water than that..

I use 5 gallon fabric pots as well. The pots loose 250ml - 500ml a day in just evaporation. You can give her way more water. She definitely looks underwatered. Water around the edge of her with about 1 litre of water and she'll bounce back.

I'm in my 2nd week of flowering and I still have alot of leaves that can be cut for better air flow and light exposure. I defoliated my last week of veg growth and first week of flowering. Can I keep defoliating during flowering? Or will it hurt my flowering process?

Wait untill end of week 3 and remove 50%of the leaves and anything in the shadow, this will roughly be at the end of the flowering stretch so you'll know which ones to remove and which to keep 👍🌱

The thickest branch on my plant is taller than all the rest. Just started week 3 of flowering. Should I top it down to the same height as the rest of the plant?

No I wouldn't at this stage. I would move the plants around a bit so the shorter branches get the most light and if it keeps over taking them bend it slightly and tie it down (super crop) 👌🌱👍

There are a lot of bug sites underneath my canopy that will probably never see light. Should I just let them be or should I look to trim them down? I will be going into week five of flower here in a few days.

I pick a horizontal line where i prune anything below that on plant, because it is destined for trash buds and want more focus up top. i err on the side of leaving some, as it improves hash yield immensely. bend it down and out of way so it doesn't restrict airflow in canopy. fluffy trichome coated buds are great for hash. Axillary growth i'll lopp off if i don't think it has time to grow out enough to form anything but a piece of popcorn. If i end up with an overpopulated area and feel it's too late to cut it, or it is too large to lop off without stressing plant, I bend it down and under entire canopy to create ore airflow, and just some more buds destined from hash bin. in many cases this can reduce overall yield, but only if you count buds that you would never smoke. It will prevent such growth from using resources, and if you provide the same resources and light, otherwise, then it will spend it more on the better buds. all good. Leaves in canopy -- some penetration is good. Don't remove all leaves from any one node and you'll probably do okay. light hitting leaves is the goal and limiting stretch on any terminal buds growing vertically that you care about.

Hi there! This kind of purple in the leaves is molybdenum deficiency BUT this is also totally normal for some plants during the end of their growing cycle and nothing to be afraid of. The plant also troubles to use molybdenum in colder temps so that's why for example cold nights brings out the purple color better. Also too much Sulfur will lock out Molybdenum But I would not worry about that 'cos it looks pretty normal to me.

Why are my buds not covered in frosty trichromes? I have about 3 weeks of flowering left and it is making me kinda nervous. The plant is under white LED, so the color you see is the color of the plant.

White hairs are the initial kind of, when budding is just starting, they need to get brown/black or entirely dissapear in some strains, the buds fatten up, trichomes fatten up and cover everything in sugar, and then depending on the strain maybe have some white hairs at the end before chopping time (like exploding from full calixes). Probably 3-4 weeks more is a good estimation, and it's sure to get more trichomes, not less, so I would just keep on the same track, have some patience, and the result will be magnificent. Good smokes!

Can I do a big defoliation with 2 weeks left before harvest? My plant has a crap ton of leaves and I wanted to fatten up my buds and get light to some places it is lacking.

Hey Growmie, I'm a big fan of defoliation but since your so far into flower I wouldn't advise it, I would just let her finish up and let the leaves die off during the flush. Really Not suppose to defoliate after week 3 of flower. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

Okay here me out. Don't dismiss or do not really huge on arguing but.. Your light needs to be much closer.. like 12" inches.. You will dramatically increase your final out put if you put that light closer.. Trust me... EXPECT an increase in transportation and some foliage damage to show up.... The added photons will be of huge benefit. Anyway happy growing and I hope you take my advice.. You'll thank me later :)

@Septooth, Can we chat about this... I'm autistic and a poor communicator so it's a lot easier if I can go back and forth.. That was you understand and I don't sound like a dick. I'll leave grow diaries open and leave chat open.. To help I'm not horrible busy today got stuff around the house to do... But I really do wanna help you.. Helping you helps me.

@DeadwebsiteBoringcommunity, I'm just a little confused....You said "No keep them exactly the same.. The coverage will be greater the light doesn't mix and mingle.." But then it sounds like you say I should add the light. Should I add the spider farmer light in with my QB V2? These are the lights.... https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/kits/products/135w-qb-v2-rspec-led-kit https://www.amazon.com/Spider-Farmer-Dimmable-MeanWell-Spectrum/dp/B07TS82HWB/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=spider+farmer&qid=1592073660&sprefix=spider+farmer&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUE2RzZCRkozRjlETkomZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA2NDU3NjgxMFdTTVdYWlZXWVJDJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA4OTYxODAyRkxaWE9MODVBM0I0JndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfc2VhcmNoX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

@Septooth, No keep them exactly the same.. The coverage will be greater the light doesn't mix and mingle.. I thought it did way back then but it doesn't.. And with SMDs it's more directed toward down anyway so you can definitely run them side by side at full power.. Put both around that 12" Level. And I'd put maybe an inch or two space between the two just so you have air flow around the boards.. The need to raise the light would come from an increase in wattage from the dramatic increase in photons. Think like 240w would be 18" that sort of idea.. I didn't research the 240w so I don't know the height but you get the idea of what I am trying to get at. You won't double your yield it doesn't work like that.. But you will dramatically increase your light by doubling the amount of available photons. Thereby given your ladies the available energy to grow, there will be a dramatic increase in transportation from what your doing.. If you do it so expect to see some big changes with the foliage.. Make sense? Sorry just to try to explain a bit further by smd I meant LM301 I know that's what the sf boards have and again the wattage with par is around the same spec so it makes zero difference to the advice. Par..ppfd..umol.. I'm not a technical term type of person I just try to explain as best I can.
