They are looking much healthier since the over heat issue, I've done some defoliation, training, cloning since a few days ago. I recovered from the heat stress by misting lightly multiple times a day with extreme serine by roots organic, plain water to roots for 2 feeds, and moving them into area with more plants to take away light intensity a bit.

@snowybudz, thank you and you're welcome! That's the deal, no 'auto-pilot' modes :) we got to keep on our toes if we want the best for our girls (and boys) ;) and those plants sure look like they are being treated like as such ;)

@bobo420,thank you. I'm hoping that will reflect in my yield. These plants have been cloned, topped, and trained extensively.

Gotta love logging in and seeing a beautiful little sapling. I'll be excited to see how you decide to train her in the coming weeks. What did you decide for a feeding regiment?
snowybudz
snowybudzcommented7 years ago
@DabCrab, as far as training they have all been topped and may or may not receive another round of topping. Lst to the max on these as well. Possibly a scrog once in flower however these are all bag seeds so still waiting to find out the sex of my babies. I'm a little lost to be honest as far as scroging once already sexed and in flower.

snowybudzcommented7 years ago
@DabCrab, Nutes - plain water alternating Everytime soil dries out. I will be using roots organic grow and Bloom as well cal-mag+ as those are what I normally use. However this time I will also be adding in uprising foundation, uprising grow, Trinity and super phos. I have been very happy just using the grow and Bloom in past grows however I feel adding in some of these extras will help me receive a little extra quality.

A+! Looking forward to seeing your harvest and yield =)

Jaindohcommented7 years ago
@snowybudz, Hopefully that will be enough to fill your needs until you can get another harvest going and really maximize your area =)
snowybudz
snowybudzcommented7 years ago
@Jaindoh, it's going go but I'd say b+ lol. Not because of quality but mainly because I feel my yield isn't what I was hoping for.. but of course the new area isn't all the wayset up. I see about 3 lbs right now I was hoping for more like 5

You're stil inl veg... hopefully roots havent shocked too much, and there's plenty of time to recover before you flip, right? IDK about what else to do in soil, i use coco for specific reason of heat resistance; you had a failure which is a once in a while thing, but in my case i dont even have central air here. Soil has plenty of silica, depending, but i also supplement potassium silicate in coco to prevent root shocking which helps. I guess as long as you get back into the right part of the vapor-pressure deficit chart you should recover as well as possible -- potentially fully?

Jaindohcommented7 years ago
@snowybudz, I don't know but I was thinking about it; you might cut nutes to half except all the specifically root/soil microbe beneficial ones... for a cycle or two. That might be overkill, though. VPD? Basically, you know how the plant has little spiricules and whatnot in the leaf that breathe? Well due to the physics of moisture in the air the RATIO of humidity to temperature affects how well the plant breathes and if its wrong (very easy once it gets too hot) they super dont like over transpiring. misting can help overtranspiring IME. Article http://www.just4growers.com/stream/temperature-humidity-and-c02/vapor-pressure-deficit-the-hidden-force-on-your-plants.aspx Chart http://www.just4growers.com/media/23631/vpd_2degree.gif

@Jaindoh, I was planning to flip soon until this happen. At this point I'm just putting off the flip until I see a good amount of recovery. Are use the roots organic nutrient line and as far as I'm aware a lot of the additives I have are heavy in silica. What is the vapor defect chart that you're speaking of?
