White Widow and M39 x GDP

Maybe starting a little early but whatever. Put these seeds to germinate approx 48 hours ago and they both germ'd today! They are both feminized, one from QCS and the other from Seedsman. I had forgot that I received them as freebies over the last 10 years and stashed them away. If you are wondering what happened to my other diary "Dinafem PAK"? I managed to get sick and leave it too long without sufficient water, dried right up. That is why this time I'm starting these seeds in the soil and not hydro. I think that seedlings are too fragile for a big bucket anyways.

So it begins... These seeds both germinated and popped their heads out of the soil in approx 5 days. The White Widow is very vigorous while the M39 x GDP seems a little more delicate. The WW seed was about twice the size as her sister so I did expect some differences. M39 x GDP had a rough start, first there was a clear membrane stuck over the cotyledons keeping them shut, then there was more membrane on the stem keeping it from standing straight up. I'm hoping thats all the babying I need to give her. Very excited about this time, third times the charm! I may even get away without even labeling them they are so different looking at the moment. Hey guys, things going well and as expected. Very little to write about at this stage. I bought pot stands to keep them off the cold basement floor, this should help eliminate any stress.

So yeah I had no idea that FF Happy Frog had little to no nutes! I had gone to a different hydro shop and the guy wasn't any help, I asked him if this soil had all the stuff needed for cannabis. Well lesson learned when your seedlings start eating themselves! Now that I am aware of this I have fed them some nourishment and upping the GHE Flora series gradually until this point. Normally I would use my Lucas Method but these guys looked really rough a few days ago. The colour has come back and they are growing again, little behind but truckin along.

Ok so these girls are coming along nicely. I decided not to mainline after all but instead top, I will be training the branches similar to mainlining. Now that they have more room and fed properly they seem to be taking off. The WW has the most perfect phat leaves, while the M39 x GDP has more of a sativa style leaf. Its strange that when you grow from seed the leaves are always much more phat than after you have been taking clones for a while. Not much else going on other than the M39 x GDP seems to have hit her peak for feeding at the moment but the WW is sucking back the juice like a champ!

Hello all, I'm a little late this week, been pretty busy outside building a huge deck and two large gazebo's. They seem to be doing well, however the WW has these little leafs and they seem to be staying that size. I am wondering if I ended up with auto by accident?! Time will tell, these girls are turning into nice little bushes and thats just fine with me. I have just switched them to 12/12 and the clones have been cut. I'm hoping they dont stretch too much. The M39 x GDP has a kinda skunky smell and the WW doesn't smell at all. Once they start to flower they will probably start to stink up the place. Not much else going on, just keep rollin, rollin, rollin, rollin!

UPDATE: So the original two are doing great... Cant wait to up the nutes in a few days, it will be fun watching them explode. Basically yesterday was the first day of flowering with actual tiny buds. I have decided to only keep the WW clone contender, she rooted so fast and the recovery from cloner to 3.5 gallon bucket is incredible. That plant is amazingly strong genetics and as far it goes no sex problems. This time it was kinda warm in the cloning room, the M39 x GDP clone never really did well so I discarded them. Thats ok cause I really only needed one strain to work with and Im impressed so far. Starting a new diary with the clone cause it will be pure (R)DWC hydro from here. Hey there, Welcome back to the under the stairs secret grow. They are doing so nice nothing to worry about, been feeding them what I would normally. The WW seems to just want more and more nutes but I am going to only up the bloom a bit and drop the gro a bit. The M39 x GDP has these beautiful dark green almost purple leaves, and the WW again has these tiny in size perfectly symmetrical leaves. I really think I have been blessed with the perfect plants for my setup... short stubby and hopefully heavy weight goodness. The WW clones had those roots develop in just 7 days, all I do is cut them, scrape 1 inch of stem with a blade and make sure they are always tips below water. I don't use hormones, ph or add anything to just plain RO water and every time I got roots in anywhere from 7-14 days! Thanks for stopping by.

So I have made it another week. The girls are doing well but I wish I had trained the WW more cause she mostly just stretched her highest branches. Things are moving on, just started to drop the gro and going to up the bloom next watering. Well thanks for stopping by, see you next week!

Ok another week has past. These girls have been good to me, no problems as far as I can tell. I have adjusted the nutes for peak flowering stages. They seem to be going well but a little slow, plus the White Widow keeps stretching a little bit. Im hoping that is all she is going to stretch, I think now they are only getting small amounts on Nitrogen she will stay that height. I am always keeping an eye out for male parts but things are good! Cant wait until those buds start to get bigger. I have noticed that other people who have grown this strain from Seedsman have had very ample buds by the end... fingers crossed. See you next week.

A few days late but better now than never. The ladies are doing well, I am going to up the bloom a bit more next watering. So no male parts still... They are starting to smell a little more and finally have some crystal production. I can't wait till they swell and stink up the place! Thanks for taking the time to check us out.

Hello again, another week and these babies are filling out finally. The M39 X GDP is a little ahead of her sister on bud production, her hairs have started to change color. The WW smells amazing, almost sweet like candy, while the other barely smells at all. From my experience buying crappy M39 from the local chinese gangs, I have noticed that it barely had any smell to it... one thing I hope for is the density. Not sure what to expect from the WW cause I have seen a range of different pheno white widows over the years. Just waiting patiently to finish in about the next 3 weeks I guess, again this is going to be new to me so... Anyways stay tuned and keep toking my friends.

Hey there my friends... another week gone and they are coming along nicely. The M39 x GDP is farther along and has bigger buds than the white widow. I was looking at the WW today and noticed an increase in crystal production but all pistols are still as white as can be. The pistols on M39 x GDP are starting to go an orange, and buds are swelling up nice. Not to much else... stay tuned!

Hey-ohhhh. Oops... lost a week of reality there, but we are still moving forward. Little disappointed with the WW, I found naner's on 2 buds. I have decided to cull her offspring and germinated another fresh seed. I am now very selective of what passes for candidates with my constant cycle system plans. Like I said germinated new seeds, one of each. They have been planted into DIY little containers in Fox Farm soil, going to carefully rinse roots off of the M39 x GDP once she outgrows her container and transplant into my (R)DWC system. The M39 X GDP was absolutely lovely to grow, if she can get me high and continue to get the job done as my dominant strain, I am very pleased! I believe she deserves a proper name?... I got the beans as a freebie from (QuebecCannabisSeeds) and since then the whole page for them have disappeared. As long as this new bean produces anything like the other one, her name "Enforcer". What do you think?

Sweetness...been flusing the Enforcer, might as well be one of a kind cause you cant buy the seeds anymore because the one seed I had didn't make it! I will try and enjoy it in about 5 more days. White widow spit another larger banana.... bummer. On a good note maybe getting a few clones from a friend and new WW and Diesel seeds are just coming up outta the ground! Everything happens for a reason, always keep your eyes and mind on the future, but now with experience!
