Starting a couple of photo flowers by Canuk Seeds. Canuk Cookies and Canuk Obi-Wan Kush, both feminized seeds. Started in a wet shop towel before planting into coco starter pots. Roots were already poking through the bottom after a couple days so I've transferred to 8" pots already. Just wetting them with a light nute solution. I've seen good reviews of these strains so I planning to take my time and have some fun and try attempting some HST training on these and veg them out for at least the next 4-6 weeks while they share the grow space with some auto's that are now a week into flowering. 😁
They are a little small for two weeks but otherwise looking ok. Was letting the medium dry out a little to encourage root growth, but maybe over did it a little slowing growth? the roots should be established well enough now and will start fertilizing them more often.
Slow but steady progress. Plants are healthy and happy. Plan to transplant to final 5 gal pots and top them in the next few days. Gameplan is try out a flux manifold with these.
We topped them down to the 2nd node early in the week. Let them recover for couple days then transplanted to 5 gal pots and started the flux training. The Obi-Wan is taking to it very well but I'm afraid the Cookie was a little small I guess and its been slow to bounce back. should've only topped down to 3rd node maybe? Lessons learned. She's alive and my autos still have a solid 3+ weeks to go at least so plenty of veg time still. Looking good.
Torturing the girls slowly lol. Just vegging away. Would be nice if they stretched a bit more, thought having the lights so high they would have a bit more space between nodes but they're staying pretty tightly spaced. Also having some slight issues with some branches growing out unevenly, off the same node. Maybe I didn't place the plants perfectly in the middle of the pot? Not sure. Otherwise looking good.
