Started this entire single plant operation due to being furloughed for a TBD period. It has been a few years since my last grow, and my first one in my new apartment. Things started off quite nicely. *Soaked Rockwool in 6.0 pH for while the seed rested between a paper towel. *Seeds popped after 18 hours. Dropped in Rockwool and then dropped in bucket. Turned the lights on. Going with a 24-hour light cycle due to autoflower and seed provider information. *Sprout popped up 12 hours later. *Smoked a j with her first true leaf on day 4 (True Leaf arrived Day 3). Named her Petunia. *Happy 4/20, my fellow potheads. The Moby Dick is on day 6 from germination. Almost 2” from blade to blade, and you can see the beginnings of the third true set. Temp 78, humidity 75%, lights on 24. Waiting for a root to poke thru so I can turn on the pump 🌱. (Root popped thru about 2 hours after writing this update). >>>>>>>>>>Nute Solution | General Hydroponics Trio (Micro/Grow/Bloom) 3 - 3 - 1 until ppm 350. *Day 7 (24 hrs with pump on), and Petunia fair thrivin'.

Day 7-11 - Saw some really quick growth on top. Saw first sign of roots, so doing whatever I can to stimulate deep root penetration and expansion. Wife added some crystals into the mix. They're promoting gentleness, luck, manifestation, optimism, and nourishment. Seemed fitting. I'll humour it. Swapped out water on day 8. Bumped the PPMs up to 450, but fed 550 to the rockwool base. Baby Steps. Day 12 - Significant root progress. Brought the entire bucket's PPM up to 550. Feeding the rockwool base PPM 650 for the remainder of the week. Day 13 - Two days later, and the roots have tripled in size, girth, and feelers. Great root action coming out of the side of the bucket translates to super fast growth and/or super fat yield. Hoping for both <3 Also, if you haven't watch MIDNIGHT GOSPEL on Netflix, give it a shout if you're into existentialism, life after death, healing energy, or simply into being a good person. Day 14 - Gave the baby a photoshoot. She deserved it. Most all photos are taken on a Sony A6000 mirrorless camera, standard 3.5-5.6/16-50mm lens. Looking forward to another exciting week of growth. Will be LST and topping in a few days. Check back in for the progress.
