Second attempt at a first grow of Tangerine Dream Auto.Had 3 but only potted two first two seedlings were stunted very early on, moved them to tiny pots just to experiment. This is the second attempt with the 1 remaining seed & is looking much better than the first two. Will post stunted plants later. Started a grow, along side the Tangerine Dream. 3 weeks behind. Train Wreck- Potted seed deeper than the first three, hoping it would shoot straight out the soil, which it did.

Roots on the stunted & tramatically transplanted plants seem to be doing well, maybe if they were given some time to recover they might have done alright. They are over a month old & seemed to quit growing around week 2-3, after a large amount of water seeped into the fabric pots. Pistils are popping. Current attempt seems to be doing fine or at least better than the first. Also fed stunted plants microbe life root stimulator.

OOOOOUUUUCCCCCh, expericinceing some slight nute burn. I’ve heard that a tiny about of nute burn isn’t a bad thing. Lower leaves have been dying, normal ?

@Zannabis7, overwatering at the same time makes sense but also does not. makes sense because the first leaves pulled off, squeezed them & a lot of fluid came out. does not make sense because i water a day or so after picking up the pot & it feels light so i know it has been dry..maybe the those initial waterings are too heavy .thought im suppose to water until there is some run off, maybe ill aim for little to none.

Plant looks great. Lower leaves dying often caused by overwatering, but is also somewhat normal. Best wishes.

@iLetMyNutsHang, Thanks! Yes, nutrients are tricky for sure. pH and ppms of the soil via a slurry test is quite important as this allows you to adjust the pH/ppms of your water to keep the soil in the sweet spot. Always happy to help if needed. Best wishes...

@Zannabis7, thanks that sounds like solid advice, figuring out how & went to used nutes is tricky. 7.5 ml of grow big & high bloom was done at first feed, knew i should have started off with less.i also don't test ph might be an issue with nutes.

@iLetMyNutsHang, She also looks a little too dark green. Could be she is getting to much nitrogen. This will cause dark green leaves and yellowing of the undergrowth. Perhaps back off on the nutes for a bit.

Hey man, generally not a good idea to transplant autos at all. Also how far away is your light from the plant? Looks like stretching is occurring.

iLetMyNutsHangcommented7 years ago
@SadBoyDabs710, kept the light @ 60cm for about 3 days, didn't like the amount of grow i saw moved them lower will work my way downwards to 40cm maybe ill find a sweet spot.

@iLetMyNutsHang, Sound good lol, it had to be done. Yeah im currently keeping my at 40cm with good results.

@SadBoyDabs710, The plants that were transplanted were already stunted & were a waste of space so they were scrapped and moved. Been moving the light between 18in to 24in, trying to find a good distance.

She's nice and wide for an auto looking well some of the lower leaves will die off it's better to remove them when they are half green still so the plant is not fighting to revive it

@iLetMyNutsHang,lol she's a beast trained similar to my white widow very similar go take a look I prefer my plants like this less plant more bud lol

@biggreens420, thinking i went a bit OD with the tying down never gave a chance for much vertical growth. im going to stop now because she's taking over the tent the covering some of other two plants that were potted 3 weeks later. first grow first tent didn't know what to expect. guess after this ill have go go bigger.

Good effort mate, love the LST, I'm gunna try some of that style on my next run! So I'll follow to see how you do it lol. But I have to say this ... What's with the name?? Please tell lol I hope its not as literally as you put it hahaha!
iLetMyNutsHang
iLetMyNutsHangcommented7 years ago
@CAMOGROWN, Thanks, no idea what im doing, i understand the concept to be tricking the plant to think that that the main bud has been damaged, so the other parts of the plant kicks into survival mode. So every time tops were higher figured they were fighting to imitate the main bud. id then pull them all down facing the outside of the pot, for another round of fighting to survive. Figuratively, idea is the the testes are outside of the body, because the temp of the body is too high, so when they hang they are comfortable, chilling, & producing the most. I'm trying to be just like them, lmao.
