Dunk_Junk Decided to start my #1 favourite strain so far! π
It will be interesting to see if I 'overrated' it last time or not.
In her 20 litre airpot is a mix of new compost : new canna terra : perlite in a 3:3:1 ratio by scoop.
Also I should mention I riddled the brand new compost AND Terra soil through an approx 6mm 1/4" screen.
This makes the soil wonderfully soft. I've not done this on my recent grows, lets see if it makes a difference or not.
She is 7 days above ground now.

Dunk_Junk She grew 17cm this week. Over doubled her height.
Lets see what she does in the next couple of weeks.
I note she got a LOT bushier. Also her leaves are VERY broad and indica like for such a sativa strain! πΆ

She is definitely a more indica phenotype π
I must have lucked out first time round with such a Sativa phenotype π
I'd love to know more on this side. The likely phenotypes, and how and why they come about. Also what is the likelyhood/prevalence of each of the phenotypes.......
So many questions π
But anyway, she's looking absolutely fab. Flowers developing well so on she goes a few more weeks! π

I think she's almost there. Just waiting on more pistils to change colour. Trichomes are mostly milky. I note she is quite smelly!!!!!!
She grew well throughout. I think she was a more indica phenotype, lower and bushier etc.
Still produced 80+g of decent buds.
Super sativa effects. My fave.

If I am honest I'd have liked a bit more on the harvest but it is what it is. I see yours looks much more Sativa than mine! Yours should be a fun trip π

@Dunk_Junk, I can imagine, she looked very large on the photos. But still, I think its a good yield. And a beautiful one for sure! I hope mine is as Sativa as it gets :D she did not want to start flowering at all and I will have to travel in 3 weeks. Hopefully she will fatten up quickly
@Dunk_Junk, yeah, I harvested 1, the trichomes were almost all cloudy with a few amber. My MA#2 I'll harvest here shortly am I sure but have to check trichomes, cause the pistils are all brown (90%) as with MA#3. MA2 & MA3 are 2 different phenos I can see it. I'm gonna harvest them when cloudy.. I grew these specially for their sativa effects. I like uplifting smoke sometimes and couch lock sleepy smoke others, and hybrids in between lmfao
@BigHickory357, The sativa aspect of mexican airlines is what drew me to it 2 years ago. It did not disappoint back then and hope for similair this time.
She was a PERFECT wake 'n' bake strain. In fact she is/was my #1 strain. Amazing.

@BigHickory357, I think airpots and the fabric pots are trying to achieve the same thing. Air pruning.
Airpots + COB leds + fresh compost has worked very very well for me in past grows.
I see you're growing 3x Mex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
