Started showing signs of flower this week so it's out with the MH and in with the HPS, I'm still defoliating as needed, I also added about ⅛ the recommended strength of miracle grow performance organics for edibles to my rain water, I know miracle grow may not the best choice but I'm just using what I can afford at the moment.

Would it be too late to to start LST at week 4 on an auto? it should began flowering within the next week or two, I normally just remove fan leaves but I heard lst could boost my yield, I've never tried it with an auto???

Hi @Sneekthafarmer The first stage when you can LST is at the very start of your plants life cycle when the first or second true leaves are fully grown. At this stage cannabis tend to grow only straight up and you can start to train it to get multiple tops. This technique when started at the young age will yield the best results and are usually done deliberately with an end goal of maximal efficiency. When you don’t start LST your autoflower at the early stage the result would not be as good as when you start from the beginning, but it will still massively improve the performance of the plant. Second stage when growers usually start to LST autos is at the first weeks of flowering or a week before flowering period when a cannabis plant is growing most vigorously and producing the most branches. When a grower sees that his autoflower is getting out of control and will soon outgrow its grow area he/she needs to do something that will help to train that plant. This option is a very common occurrence between new growers who can’t or don’t anticipate how high their cannabis will grow and don’t train those plants from the beginning. At this stage an autofloer plant is usually more mature than it should be to perform LST most effectively, but you can still do it and it will still be helpful and can save you from increasing grow space or performing High stress training. The only thing that is different at this stage is that the cannabis plant is mature and it will be difficult to train it as it is strong, hard to bend and usually inexperienced growers will force the plant too much and it can fold over or even break. Good luck mate 👍

Very good health👌. You're the only other person I've seen mention the root stimulant powder. Great stuff, amirite? Insta tap👍. Cheers and keep it up man. Beauty NL👊

@Sneekthafarmer, Well if it hurts the plant, I'd know by now😅. I'm using ProMix mycorrhizae and have done three feeds with hygrozyme as an additive, full dose, no issues at all👍. If you're adding your own mycorrhizae in, I'm sure following the ratio to soil would do no harm. A Google search might be worth it too, but I've seen no ill affects on my end👌. Btw, if you ever want to start testing you water pH, there's a nice cheap liquid and vial test by general hydroponics. Lasts forever and costs like 8 bucks. PH pens are okay... But the manual test dead accurate.

@JinksyGrows, that would be perfect since I Don't have a pH tester right now I don't know what my pH really is, that's why I only use rainwater or water from the lake, as far as the soil I have no clue of what my pH is, do you know if I can use hygrozyme and mycorrhizae together without hurting the plant?

@Sneekthafarmer, Kind of? mycorrhizae is to mitigate fungus and bacterial build up. The hygrozyme acts more as a soil cleaning agent. Does near the same, but breaks down proteins in the soil so the plant can use them, too. Helps root health and nutrient uptake as well. I bit the bullet and bought it because I saw everyone's fine results and lack of pH problems. I'm no Biochemist, but this is how I understand it's function. Also! Chemical free👍
