She seems happy, growth in height slowed, but she's pushing out leaves. She's very heliotrophic, tracking the sun all day just like the Nepalese Jam. So I'm guessing this is a sativa trait, as it was very noticeable with the Nepjam and with this c99...
This photo is old, i have topped her again but haven't taken pics yet, i have been a little eager to top, so growing out the 8 new grow tips for a bit, then a transplant into her final pot...
I have topped 6 out of 8 tops, the 2 i have left were growing slower than the others, so I'm allowing them to catch up with the others before i top them. She seems to be growing well! I have noticed after i rubbed a stem an aroma that brought mango to mind, rather than pineapple or grapefruit. Its a very nice aroma! I have kept a couple of cuttings for clones. 1 clone is to become a mother, and i may just pot up the other 2 clones...
I took this photo just after pinching out the grow tips, I probably did this a little early, but now at least training is done, I'll dial up the veg nutes a little and now just a case of sitting back and waiting for new tops to form hopefully 32....
In the last week she really stretched in hindsight maybe I should have topped again.... Mainlining has given her a nice shape, although there are one or two stems shorter and weaker but i have left them. When the stems are rubbed now, I'm picking up sharp citrus scent with an undercurrent note which brought fuel to mind... White hairs appeared couple days ago so we'll see what she does...
Bit more stretching this week, buds developing well, i have added some bamboo canes for support, i will take photos of the developing bud sites next week...
Lots of hairs running down stems, slight resin production on sugar leaves... Very nice aroma.. It was a herbal scent earlier in the week but has now become slightly fruity sweet with herbal undertone, the fruitiness is almost pineapple/mango
The buds are swelling despite the weather not being great, worked in some guano. I'm not sure i did this when I first saw pistils, but hopefully I did... That fruit scent is slightly more pronounced but discreet (for now...) Not much else to say apart from attached a couple stems to the canes as they were bowing slightly. Fan leaves near top of colas were throwing up "V"s prayer signs so all seems good 🤞✌️
At the moment she's drinking about 6 litres every couple days, but the weather has warmed up. Lovely smell as i keep saying but it is rather special! A couple of colas that have started to lean due to the weight have been supported. She's very frosty right up to tips of most sugar leaves, also a couple of hairs are turning red. I've removed lower fan leaves that have yellowed whilst doing this i noticed the few lower popcorn nugs are starting to swell. I'm keeping an eye on her as the nights are getting colder... Trichomes under the loupe are still glassy, but forming well.
Bad Weather and high humidity forced me to start chopping early...In hindsight I could have created better air flow in grow area. Top Colas were massive. I'm letting the bottom section do it's thing for a few more days up to a weak as I would like some nugs with some Amber tricomes to see if there's a big difference in effect...
This was my Holy Grail! Plant grew well no issues. Large buds and finished before the bad weather hit. One issue... She doesn't taste how she smells. This isn't a biggie, but the pronounced pineapple aroma cured to a fruity aroma but the smoke has a pleasant herbal taste rather no fruity/citrus. Not a smelly plant which is great and nearly 6ft I had to be standing close to smell her. Large nugs and as the description states she tastes like a landrace! I was late trying to clone and have a small plant revegging which is only just starting to show minimal growth. So 🤞for the reveg my hope is to grow it out and clone this phenotype for next seaon....
Hey there, growing Cindy as well. We are around the same age, but I am not doing any extra feeding for mine.
It'll be interesting, to compare the plants as they go into flower. I don't plan on any feeding, until well into flower.
I am testing my soil mix, to see how big they get, without external help.
Good growing, and giving moral support.
